Re: Takeover latest
I am confused. What's the fans forum got to do with mr tamplin? The fans forum is normally held twice a year one by the supporters club and one by the club. Normal attendance would be the chairman the md and the manager. Ffs Thompson get a grip and hold a fans forum as promised twice by mr Bennett ...

Re: Daggers vs Tranmere
Couple of decisions that I though were poor: Pulling game back for a foul for us when Whitely was through on goal Not booking Jennings, having played advantage, for the foul in the move that led to their player being sent off. He'd have been off for the yellow that he subsequently received. Don't r...

Re: Takeover latest
The board don't have to call forums, they call the general meeting. I'm suggesting that the bidding parties call their own meetings to sell their bids to supporters. If one party does it, I suspect the other would want to follow suit. Both parties have improved their bids. That's good, isn't it? Tam...

Re: Takeover latest
I think we need to get away from the playground stuff and look at the merits. We can't criticise Tamplin for addressing concerns, no more than we can criticise the Easts for trying to boost their bid with increased funding. One has more money. The other has no links to the management that got us in ...

Re: Takeover latest
What legal hurdle would prevent either side from renting a hall and holding an open meeting? None that I know of.

Re: EGM is set for 17th October
Isn't Tamplin's default of one members representative the same as the Easts position?
I'm not surprised that they would want to approve any person. For example, the person might be disqualified from being a director for various reasons.
One of the Easts could stand for election!

Re: Chants
Not worth reasoning with children Are you gonna sit in some poxy office with a c**tfor a boss telling you what to do as you count your pennies trying to make ends meet in a country that's sinking into strikes and wars and at the end of the day you go home to your cosy little flat in 'nowheresville'...

Re: Chants
Which doesn't answer the question. What do you think about singing those songs of there are people who are bringing, or want to bring, young kids? I ask as one of the things we as a club say we want is to encourage families to come, so I'm genuinely interested. I declare here and now that I have be...

Re: EGM is set for 17th October
This might seem harsh, but I don't know the Easts so I am not sure that I would be as bothered as if it was one of my mates. If there has been mudslinging, it might well be reasonable to say you won't be welcome in the board room after games, for example. It's not black and white. Let's see what the...
