Re: Billericay Watch
Wah wah wah, your hypocrisy gets called out and you've got nothing but the same old comebacks. Edit - you can even see what I thought at the time in one of the above polls. A "reluctant yes" if Tamplin's didn't get a controlling interest (i.e. so he couldn't do the crazy sh*t he's done at ...

Re: Billericay Watch
What did people want to know more about him? He had a trail of cut and shut companies and a criminal record. Add to that he is a massive wanker. Those now back tracking with oh we wanted to hear more is bollocks you were wrong and the 100 or so who actually bothered to do something about saved the ...

Re: Billericay Watch
What Adrian said.
I know it's conjecture but just because he's installed himself as manager there doesn't mean it would have also been the same here. He 100% owns Billericay doesn't he? Whereas here that wasn't the case.

Re: Piegate
They don't choose a goalkeeper on the bench for league games so it's completely irrelevant.NBDag wrote:Incredibly poetic in Sutton's game right now. Their keeper has gone off injured and they didn't have a replacement for him, so they now have an outfield player in goal.

Re: Penalties again
Also, when we're chasing the game and actually trying to get something, why take a midfielder (Grant) off for a defender (Doe)?? Grant had been pulled up for a number of infringements in the first half and had managed to get booked too, couldn't afford to go down to 9 in the second half so made sen...

Re: Graham Taylor and Dimitri Payet
Prick got his own way in the end then. No point in anyone getting excited when a player signs a long term deal at their club anymore. Not worth the paper they are written on. I guess it just protects the clubs from arsehole footballers leaving on a free. It's hardly something new though, or limited...

Re: GAME OFF
Can you explain the last sentence please? It's not the clubs problem...so they can call games off whenever they want? It's a small point, but the Club didn't call the game off, the match referee did. Whether the club could've done more to get the pitch inspected earlier (and kept supporters more in...

Re: GAME OFF
To be fair though, that replay was always in doubt due to the weather, its just that they were trying to get hot air blowers and all sorts on there to save it for the TV. I was disappointed when the game was called off but not surprised. I'm probably mis-remembering, but although we had to work har...

Re: GAME OFF
Definite mistake by the club not to communicate any of this better, but does anyone remember the same situation with the Charlton replay? As far as we were concerned it was going to go ahead and thought the pitch was playable, only for it to be scuppered last minute. All we can hope is the club lear...

Re: Club Accounts to 30th June 2016
Everyone I know drinks in the pipe or eastbrook now instead of the upstairs bar and the only reason is because the beer is crap in the club. It's like wetherspoons pump beer awful. Even when it was £2.50 people never went to the club, an extra 70p for a decent pint was enough of a sway. Get decent ...

Re: New Consortium Announced
Didn't ask for source, asked for what you know. I an not sure your sources were that reliable re Tamplin, were they? For example the whole thing that your sources gave you that he had told the Easts they wouldn't be welcome at the club again was shown to be untrue. Your claim that he was going to s...

gobsmacked the shop made a profit arnu needs to go over that and help there. the bar loses a lot due to most going to eastbrook now it's to cold for pipe major. only 1 reason there poor quality alcohol Or the fact you can sit outside if it's nice weather Or that you can get food as well as drink or...
