Re: FA Trophy: Peterborough Sports (H) 9 December 2023
Well that was a pile of shit. But the worst thing about it is that it was 100% expected and deserved. It’s really hard to still care about this club right now. My dad actually walked out at 75 mins because the game was that boring and it was obvious what was going to happen. How bad can a performanc...

Re: New walkout music
I’m not upset at all — but if the club wants to push the same question it can expect the same response. And trust me I’m all too familiar with the fact that the club can never win. It’s why the atmosphere has been pants for so long. I don’t support Hornchurch so I won’t go there, surprisingly. The w...

Re: New walkout music
Why is this club so obsessed with this topic? Especially Underdog which they have tried to force on us every season since the Burnett years, it feels. I get that Todd wants to create a good atmosphere but Christ this shit won’t change a thing. If you’re reading this Todd - atmospheres are made by tw...

Re: NL: Rochdale (H) 25 November 2023
Useless yanks sign useless players and Dagenham lose against half decent teams. Look at our squad, look at our apparent new head scout, look at our manager. No new faces, no new thinking, and no new Dagenham. But yeah let’s all cream our pants for beating Ebbsfleet, Dorking and Woking. Absolute mugs.

Re: NL: Kidderminster (A) 18 November 2023
Let’s be honest. 4 wins from 6 is a good amount of points on the board. But let’s also be honest, in those 6 games we have played 5 teams even lower than us in the table. The one team above us was probably the best performance of the lot too and it left us with no points. That same team also lost to...

Re: NL: Solihull Moors (H) 11 Nov 2023
I too think we were unlucky that we kept on being unable to score clear-cut chances. The same as we were unlucky against Boreham Wood, York, Hartlepool, Halifax, Bromley, Oxford… I’m sure we will continue to be unlucky too, because that’s exactly how luck works

Re: NL: Solihull Moors (H) 11 Nov 2023
Back to reality of things after a heady spell of beating 2 teams below us and one team with 10 men. How can a manager who was such a good striker end up with a front line that are so bad at scoring goals? Sears we can say firmly isn’t the answer that none of us thought he would be when he joined. Ef...

Re: NL: Ebbsfleet United (A) 28 October 2023
So somehow we have found ourselves winning 2 of the last 3 despite our actual performances being in the worst spell of form this season. This sport makes 0 sense at times. Glad we have won, but the anger towards the running of this club needs to carry on and make it clear what needs to happen for us...

Re: NL: Ebbsfleet United (A) 28 October 2023
Does the result tomorrow actually mean anything? In May are we going to look back at Ebbsfleet away and say “yeah that’s when we knew this team had changed paths”? The fact is a squad of our budget should be winning this at a minimum. But the truth is that a squad of our talent will be lucky to take...

Re: NL: Boreham Wood (H) 24 Oct 2023
We all know that the problems at the club run far, far deeper than the manager, and that there are many, many questions that need to be directed higher. We also know that any questions directed higher will be batted away in a cloud of denial and that nothing will change. It is this combination that...

I have so much sympathy for Charlie Kendall. It must be heart breaking to try so hard at your job and still be completely useless at it.

Re: How long ?
Honestly who cares? If Strevs goes then we still have the same dipshits upstairs trying to pick a replacement. The same dipshits that backed Taylor, took over a year too long to sack McMahon, and brought in safe Strevs (and will subsequently take too long to sack him). Get Thommo sacked first, those...

Re: Club Captain
The problem isn’t that Justham is the captain. It’s the fact that we don’t have many other leaders in the team. Look at the experienced players in our team — Westy, Inih and Eastman have been out for most parts of the season. Hessenthaler & Rees are naff. And I’m still not 100% sure if Sears sti...

Re: Taylors squad 2018/2019
To be fair only Manny, Gordon, Robinson, Balanta and Wilkinson were better than what we have right now. Arguably given the player Manny became, he was just the best of a very bad bunch. Then Robbo became a fantastic player, but we need DM’s Robbo this year not the defensive workhorse under Taylor. T...
