And he also coached Borings academy side which makes him a doubly great signing.
If he is the quality of player we a looking at can't wait for the next batch of announcements and a hearty three cheers to all concerned.

Re: Ebbsfleet
No crocodile tears from me. Ebbsfleet took advantage of our problems and now it's our turn. If we could re-sign Cory plus Kedwell as far as Im concerned justice will have been served.

Re: What is the point ?
If our players read this forum I wonder what they must be thinking. A little praise and loyalty could make them even more determined to get us out of trouble, but after reading some of the shit on here if it was me I wouldn't bother any more.]

Re: Happy Birthday DaggerJoel
Happy birthday Joel. BTW, my son started his journalism career doing match reports at Vicky Road and other local grounds. After reading some of your stuff I reckon you could do equally well if that's the career path you choose.

New seven million pound football facility in Parsloes Park
I have just read that there will be a seven million pound football facility in Parsloes Park that will include a step five stadium. Does anyone have any thoughts on this news?

Re: Signing
Yet another player that wants to play for us because of Peter Taylor, who IMO could be our best ever signing. No pun intended but things seem to be looking up for us right now.

Re: Takeover complete
I wonder if our new owners see us as a nursery club that can nurture talented young American players, and ambitious UK players as well for their American franchises. If that is the case we could become a magnet for some really top quality footballers and really benefit from this takeover, as could t...

Who would we like to come back
Now it looks like we are in a better financial state who would we like to see return to the daggers if its possible. IMO we have a squad potentially as good as last season but lack a fox in the box and a leader on the pitch. For a leader, I would love to see Scott Doe, or possibly Jake Howell return...

Re: Team suggestions for Chesterfield
If fit I would start Ben Nunn, and IMO Alex McQueen would be better in midfield, although our two new signings could be even better. To partner Elliot Romain up front it one or two from Leighton, Kandi and Tommi, and I couldn't choose, but trust PT to make the right decision. Also, a special mention...

Re: The next six/where does the first win come from
IMO our biggest problem could be keeping players like Elliot Romain and young Liam Gordon. Ben Goodliffe is another one that could make it at a much higher level. If we can win the next couple of winnable games perhaps the conversations will turn to the playoffs, and why not?
