Re: FA Cup - no replays
Disgraceful albeit not surprising though as big bucks Champions League destroyed the historical great F A Cup years back, as a young buck growing up looking up to it in awe remember so well so many great stages- Ronny Radford & Ricky Georges Hereford still now the most non Agro and brilliant pit...

Re: Romford FC
Its an all Essex final too- Romford v Great Wakering Rovers in the Vase followed by Solihull Moors-Gateshead in Trophy, ticket prices are decent and also if any footie fan likes a double header at the arch Sunday 5th May (changed as orginally tube strike day before) the National League Step 1 play o...

Re: Hartlepool Away
Believe it or not from what I gather there be a few of us and this goes down as through previous experiences worth the long effort. A right 'old school' North East ground and a good footballing corridor, passionate football fans, good rash of pubs, Millhouse lads? A nice Marina albeit the town centr...

Re: Boreham Wood Away
Great Performance against a really poor Boreham Wood side minus a defence that was in tatters, just a shame we gave a silly goal away just before the break, we should have got at least two more goals too. With the way results have gone today wouldn't put it past the daggers to reach 65 points on thi...

Re: Oldham Athletic Home
Thought that Pereira's really shining for us too, he was causing Oldham all sorts of problems on the attcak, know these guys are loanees but somehow if we could extend their stay with us best part of next season would really be worth a renew S/T, great attacking game with good crowd atmosphere but w...

Re: Oldham Athletic Home
Must win this game as we are only 7 points ahead of 23rd place Dorking and just 6 games to go with 3 sides were meeting in line behind fighting for their National League existance the quicker we achieve the safety net what a relief it will be. Oldham will no doubt be pushing to get back in the play ...

Re: Chesterfield Home
Considering the conditions out there thought we got a decent attacking game, real shame that their two goals were basically gifted, a forceful par off byJustham to the wrong player and what was the eventual winner still not sure about that defensive calamity mix up, o.g? Lads did put up some real ef...

Re: Chesterfield Home
19 points ahead, cruising without a rival insight, Grigg and Mandeville on fire, 200 Spireites down in midweek roaring them on reckon with our sort of home form were in for a right tanning, just a possibility though with our boys having a tad confidence on our last two away results and we go with 'w...

Re: Daryl McMahon
Or even Matty Saunders doing very well as Maynards assistant recently given the Notts County hot seat. Saw him score a cracker of a free kick against Barnet that won the game for us just before Xmas 2012 memory wouldn't leave me on that as my daggers baptism, back on the terraces with real working c...

Kendall gone
Just seen Charley Kendall gone over to Woking, pretty much no surprise there as pretty much an invisible player to our forward line. As a deeper thought though just wonder for whatever reason why players leave here and take off to a different level? Whether that happens here we shall certainly see?

Re: Flyde Away
Finished 1-1 after taking a lead with Inih, Phipps o.g, sure not his first, we still have alot of work to do it seems, that result to the bottom club tells it all, well done to the fans who went. Eastleigh two games be rather interesting to where we go from there? Fair play to old boy Cousins for dr...

Re: Ashes to Ashes.....
Thats a good post there Chigwellian, I certainly remember that 'looking the other way at Accrington' and if my memory corrects me think a game we visited at Guiseley was the same scenerio the difference they had a cricket pitch! and going up there again midweek I believe perhaps the season the Yorks...

Re: Ashes to Ashes.....
A football club is a horrible environment during struggling times and a club revolves around its supporters even more so when being in a Non League status and we are even more justifiably 'backbone' of a football club because we know most of the times we will see more bad days than good but why if w...

Re: NL: Wealdstone (H) 16 December 2023
Its hard three hours on to aprehend how bad has it got to witness that debacle of a showing today, this felt like a white flag surrender and every player seems so deflated, its punishment to the fans of the highest degree and just why isn't anybody up top trying to sort it out sooner rather than lat...
