Wycombe red card rescinded

Slightly surprised as from the video footage the player doesn't appear (to me) to make any contact with the ball.... so it would therefore be a foul?

Re: Waynes Meltdown.

the thing is, I tend to agree fully with the comments in the final para of the Post article... “I said to the players: “What do you think?” And they explained to me what they felt and I couldn’t have agreed more. We looked nervous, panicky, like no-one wanted to spend time on the ball and that is so...

Re: Waynes Meltdown.

I also meant to mention the 'atmosphere' ... fine if only 1300 turn up, it actually usually makes for a better atmosphere. But if the emirates is compared to a library then today our ground resembled the west & coe mortuary. At any other ground, the home team goes 2-0 and a man up early 2nd half...

Re: Waynes Meltdown.

I wouldnt say we were pathetic but it really wasnt a great performance by any stretch of the imagination. Couldnt keep any hold / control over the ball, barely threatened their goal at all and with 10 men (rather harshly??) Wycombe out passed and out played us - which considering they are really no ...

I'm of the understanding that our illustrious chairman has decided to stand down (although nothing has been mentioned officialy anywhere from what I can find) I'm sure he will continue to come to games & enjoy his prawn sarnies, but will be a great shame to see him leave his official capacity. M...

Re: Who's Goin Wombles ?

DagDale,

Not sure about any good boozers but there is APPARANTLY, a good little sports / gentlemans bar within a few mins walk from the ground. Pound in a glass jobby.

Just from what I've been told anyway of course :)

Just been done for drink driving.

Apparantly the loan move is unconnected to the prosecution.

Sounds like he needs to get his act together massively!

Anyone like to join me in eating a massive slice of this? I will wholeheartedly put my hands up and confess that despite my initial excitement at Wayne's appointment (end of season spell) I was a tad disullisioned when we decided to take him on full time as the 10 game end of season spell was in the...

Re: Match Thread - Daggers v Burton

I'm with Kevin and would have been disappointed if he had of played. I think we could have done with resting another 1 or 2 more also.

I'm sure he will be back for the game tomorrow and hopefully firing on all cylinders!

Re: Match Thread - Peterborough vs Daggers

The previous attempts to create “bumper threads” whatever one of them actually is have hardly been a roaring success. I’m with Dagger83 on this… stop trying too hard and let people just get on with it. Isn’t life too short to be worrying about having organised, official, bumper threads about a singl...

Re: Match Thread - Peterborough vs Daggers

Dont u have another id to post with, and just the admin one for admin related issues (whatever they may be)
Just a thought

Oh and even the lure of a £6 ticket isnt nearly enough to watch us go get trounced by a heavier defeat than we endured in Bristol Saturday.

Maybe RickyB was right after all....

and perhaps the Garry Hill era was just a figment of all our imaginations! http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/20131108-sodpredaggers-1162310.aspx QUOTE In the past the Daggers – who were non-league until 2007 – have given big clubs like Charlton Athletic, Norwich City and Millwall major scares down ...
