Re: Saturdays Gate
Admission prices at Burton were £15 for an adult and £5 for a youngster. That seems about right to me. I think £27 for a lad and a Dad to stand in the sieve is quite a lot. East End Club West End Prices. We certainly are not one of the cheapest D4E in fact I would say in an away supporters view we ...

Re: will we get sucked into relegation fight
Agreed! What also doesn't help - and I wil have to be careful how I word this is that it doesn't help that our newly appointed drummer is hmmm how shall I put it. Not exactly fully complismentis. Don't wish to be harsh on him coz he's having a go at it when no-one else (me included) appears willing....

Re: Saturdays Gate
Number 1 reason is absolutely down to cost (despite fact we still charge amongst the cheapest tickets in the football league) so I believe. As Mike said, I doubt very much indeed that those 2-300 previous regulars arent going elsewhere. They are just chosing not to come to every home game like they ...

Re: Brain dead match officials
So sussex u agree ref had a shocker yeah?? Speedy, if you thought that was an "inept" performance l would thoroughly recommend getting yoirself down the local offy and buy yourself a crate of something wet n strong. If we'd of played anywhere near as good against Hartlepool we'd of wiped t...

Re: Brain dead match officials
Bloody shit tip officials killed any chance we ever had today. Played some good footall worthy of getting at least a point out of the game, but timewasting from starting from the 40th minutes along with god awful officiating and some wasteful finishing sees us end up with diddly squat! Think thats a...

Support the Daggers fund
Ok, whilst I'm on one... Anyone know what is actually happening with said fund?? It was the brain child of a man who know longer attends games for various reasons with the sole purpose of providing the club with some additional funds throughout the season. A couple of good initiatives were started t...

Half Time "entertainment"
Bit quiet on here last couple of days so thought I'd drop this one in here. I know everyone is different at Half Time; some like to check scores on their phone, some like to use the toilet, some get food and some (I'm sure) like to watch the Daggerettes    Burton did a thing last week...

Re: What are the chances....?
I'd imagine we will fall short by about 4-5 places come the end of the season. IF we could re-create the early season form then maybe anything is still possible. Something which remains to wrankle with me and maybe I should just let it go is that since our game Vs Wycome (we WON 2-0 incidentally) in...

Re: RIP Bill
A really great & sad loss. Awful for our club to have lost in such a short space of time, two fantastic servants & characters such as Bill & Peter who have literally been there since the club formed in its current guise (and some). Would be nice to think they are both reunited up in the ...

Re: Dave something.
Ronaldaggero - yo've actually come up with a good idea there. I know that no drinks of an alcoholic nature are allowed to be drunk in view of the pitch BUT there is plenty of effectively just waste ground behind the Bury Road End terrace. Think it used to be used for some of the pitch maintenance ge...

Crowd tomorrow
If we can't achieve a 3-4000 crowd tomorrow at the prices being charged (even if bought in advance only) then we may as well give up.
I did my bit and bought 13 tickets yesterday. 3 of us regulars - 3 floating fans and 7 have never been to a Daggers game.
