Worth another year. If only to show the other players how to kick the ball at the goal.

First Daggers hattrick since.... ????

(Don't cheat and look it up ;) )
Was it not Woodall?

Agree, think it was Woodall in the final game of the 11/12 season where we beat Bristol Rovers 4-0.

Correct. 5th May 2012.

It's been a long wait!

Curo's was the 24th hattrick by a Dagger, and he is the 15th player to score one.

Mark Stein got 4 hattricks, Danny Shipp and Benno 3 each.
Still find it crazy that Cobby only got one during his time here.

One??? Is that all, big surprise. Who else has a hatrick for us from memory Nutty Roy must have the quickest about 8 minutes.

If we don't secure his services sharpish we could well miss out. Surely other clubs will now be alerted, and can offer him far more then we can?

Can't be offered a contract by another domestic club until he has one month or less left.

Still not convinced the manager situation will be sorted out by then though... no reason for Wayne to leave before 1st July if he has no other job offer in the pipeline unless he agrees now he won't stay on and we pay him off to get someone in by the time the transfer window opens in June.

We can't afford to wait on a decision until that late. Presuming Burnett has been offered a new contract he needs to get it signed and sort out the retained list and new contracts for those he wants to keep before it is too late, or get the hell out of the way to let a new man do it.

If not he is in danger of leaving us in a bad mess.

He kept on saying how great the Board had been backing him when any other club would have fired him (and deservedly so), now is the time to show the same courtesy back.

I have no inside information but as Wayne has his son playing for the Academy for another year there may be several factors in any decision if the club is making an offer to extend WB's contract

Doubt he'd leave as that'd mean relocating his family to wherever he goes (think he said he lives near Dagenham) so hopefully that means he'll stay. Because he lives near, he'll probably get a coaching role like Currie did and get a job working with the firsts or youngsters upon retirement.

That list bought back some memories Mike. I saw that very first one by Paul Cavell!!! The game was played at Watford on a Sunday. Wealdstone used to groundshare back then and as it was a cup game it was on the Sunday (as Watford were at home on the Saturday).
