I see Christian Montano has been named along with Sam Sodje as footballers involved in the spot fixing scandal. Thankfully nothing mentioned which relates to any of his games with us

TBH he showed little passion to play for us for much of his stay apart from 2/3 decent goals. I do remember watching him when we got stuffed at Crewe & he spent much of the game losing his rag - maybe trying to get deliberately booked?

I think he would have been approached only recently, since he moved to Oldham. The players involved play in the Manchester area and the hotel they met up in was in Manchester.

Don't think he was match fixing with us. Looked good on his day but didn't like his attitude.
