TERRY BROWN’S reign as Margate manager is over after he was sacked following Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at fellow strugglers St Albans City. Brown had been in charge at Hartsdown Park for two years and led the club to promotion through the Ryman Premier play-offs last term.

The big-spending Kent side have struggled in the National League South, however, winning just four of their opening 19 league fixtures and are only above the relegation places on goal difference.
