No striker is safe!

Strange one though, especially as Wayne worked with the youngsters over the years.

And given that he came on a few times at the end of the season I thought he would have been in Wayne's plans. Hmmm most surprising out of the lot.

Which puts him in the ideal position to make the call.

Every Striker recruited under the old regime has now gone. Taken nearly a year to clear the decks but we saw last season it was something that clearly needed to be done as simply they were just not good enough.

Obviously Wayne does not fancy him in the revised style and I think the right decision has been made. Even as an impact sub it would hardly put the fear into any opposition seeing him warm up.

Best of luck to him and all the best for the future.

I reckon something has gone on behind the scenes with this one - he was involved at the start of the season and then all of a sudden he's seemed to have dropped off the radar.

Disappointed as I rated him.

I know Peter Gain was a football genius but didn't realise he was a defender aswell

I used to like Tejan-Sie.

Can only imagine Gain retired.

It's a disappointment rather than a suprise, especially as he really impressed me in pre-season.

Having said that it shows me Wayne are not prepared to let players coast along and pick up a wage.

The sooner safety is confirmed, it allows the Club and Management to plan next season and move up the table bit by bit, and improve the squad and it's playing style

Last known to be doing a plumbing course (probably bollocks), or maybe playing football with Kevin Maher in Ireland..

That right there shows you how well we did that season. Fantastic first team but the squad depth there is shocking. Bingham, Lewy and Tejan-Sie were kids. Walsh was rubbish. Monty was a cult hero but in truth, very limited. Uddin was experienced but a non league defender in truth. Currie wasn't particularly impressive that season. We had real luck on getting very few injuries that season.
