Having played football quite a bit when I was younger I understand the need to spit. But why do managers and coaches standing on the sidelines need to do it ? or are they just animals ?

Just watch a bit of footy on sky it won't be long till someone does it. Our very own Darren currie likes a gob or two. It's not unusual for subs in the bench to gob every 2 or 3 minutes. Don't tell me you've never seen it. It's like anyone on the pitch gobs on it as soon as they get on it,even if they're just walking to the bench. Never seen John still do it, bought up in more decent times I'd say.
