Here is the latest episode of the Daggers podcast, A Game Of Headers & Volleys with our special guest Glen Southam.

We chat about Glens time at The Daggers as well as his view on the current situation at the club. He also takes on this weeks Classic Daggers where he talks about the game in that title winning season when we were first called A Pub Team From Essex. There'll be extra Glen bits coming up in future episodes that I didn't put on this podcast.

We also have another chapter in Cockney Byrites Storytime as he reads from the Roy Race Autobiography.

Thanks in advance for listening.

Quality once again.

I always thought they were pissed at Cambridge. Brilliant.

Cheers Mike, really appreciate it. I remember saying to one of my mates (probably Tel) after we beat Aldershot to win the league that they might be a bit worse for wear come Monday. He talks so passionately about the club and I loved it that he still refers to the club as "we". It certainly was a special team and it's great that we got a chance, with this platform, to talk to him about it.

When we started all this in August, we thought it would be just Tel and me all season so to get the chance to chat to former players like Mark Janney and Glen Southam wasn't even contemplated. Plus having Thommo, Russell Elmes, Jake from the Daggers Ladies team and long term supporter Auntie Merge coming on has made all this worthwhile. I think we'd still make the podcasts even if no-one was listening to it but we are glad that people are.
