Going back to the findings of the club's and the members' investigations are that Mr Simpson did pass on this alleged fake e mail it makes Mr Hopkin's decision to pull out more understandable in retrospect, not less, in my view. Not only were a faction of the support apparently trying to have the managing director removed through passing on this document but also the board was apparently divided too.

Just to say that I think it would be better if we had a CEO who reported to the board, attended board meetings and did not have a vote rather than a managing director. That's not an attack on the personalities involved (apart from Mr Simpson I don't know any of them) but more a comment on what is now accepted good business practice.
