Is anyone a bit sceptical I'm hearing these gills fans knocking Taylor for his defensive choice of tactics. Not my views BTW, I'm just putting in there.
And Hull fans saying how great he was for them. Like everything it depends on your viewpoint I guess.

TBH we just need to survive next season and a man like Peter Taylor at the helm is more likely to make that happen than some up and coming unknown. Really pleased Flapper is alongside him.

Splendid appointment under the very difficult circumstances and both have what, 70 odd years of football experience loaded in there between them, a good chance this could succeed and sure us fans will be right behind them.

You can probably dig something up about every manager, especially at this level. Most Barnet fans seem absolutely overjoyed at Still and now Currie joining, yet some here will say we should never have had Stilly back after Burnett in the first place!

I think given the circumstances, it's hard to criticise this appointment. Will Taylor be here for several seasons? Probably not - but hopefully he can keep us steady on the pitch for a season or two whilst we sort ourselves out off the pitch. After that, maybe we can look at other options who don't rely on a budget of some sort.

I see there was no mention of a contract or length. I wonder what terms the new management team are working to.

Credit where it's due, considering the situation we find ourselves in, this is a fantastic appointment by the club. Now let's get the squad sorted out and maybe we can look to surprise a few people next season.

Just listened to Peter and Terry's interview on utube. Very optimistic for the coming season, hopefully this will boost season ticket sales.
Excellent appointment and I cant wait for it to start. A new era is in the making

I think this is a great appointment under the circumstances. With Peter Taylor and Terry Harris we have got a chance to turn things round.

I may have missed it but does anyone know the length of the contracts, if any?

I was undecided about getting a season ticket.
Not anymore.....definately getting one now.
Peter Taylor and Terry Harris is a phenomenal appointment given our circumstances.
Well done to all involved. :thumbu:

Couldn't agree more there, Mine's off (ST) tomorrow too, to watch them both on daggers site clips today certainly made my mind up in a flash, never really had the chance to speak with Terry in his times here beforehand but the way he lit up to the reporter on what this club means to him and then listening to Peter's feel about the place, really hope it not only works well but brings in the fans more.

Bobble hat for starters followed by flat cap.
