He's being optimistic there if he thinks we'll avoid relegation. I can't see it myself, but obviously they have confidence in Peter Taylor and they're the people with the money.

The last quote from ST did make me laugh, “We already do a very nice Hamburger”. That wasn’t my opinion the last time I tried one.
I would very much doubt ST has tried one recently let alone the new consortium. Roast lunch in hospitality pre game.
Yes, there are far more important things to worry about the club but poor food and the poor quality of draft beer has been mentioned to the club many times and by many people.

In my experience, we do better food than the majority of other clubs.

I’m glad to hear that in your opinion it has improved. I gave up on it about 2 seasons ago after several attempts.

I think the food is pretty bad but football generally is.

This season they seem to have got rid of the teapot too resulting in a pretty weak cuppa. Minor gripe but still!

You have to love that out of a close to 1000 word article it is the 7 word hamburger quote that gets the response.

Yep. Sums this club up nicely. Still when we're challenging for the Essex and surrounding counties 9th division I'm sure we'll have sorted out the teabags and the roo burgers.

I agree about the teapot. Used to get a nice strong cuppa.
A teabag floating in hot water is not a cup of tea.

It is if you leave the teabag in for 4-5 minutes.

Out of interest, what biscuits does everyone like to dunk with?

I've taken to leaving the bag in but normally end up finishing it with the bag still in. This leads to some absorption loss.

Bourbons or custard creams are my go-to biscuits.

I cant drink crap tea, has to be English breakfast or earl grey. Bourbons for me, do like a chunky cookie.

I prefer teabag. Water needs to be hotter for effective steeping.
