What is the point ?

We got a big lump up front who can't win a header or jump higher than a midget, we got a striker Kandi who is better but on the bench so we bring him on as a right back and gavin Hoyte can't get a game. We are relegated already from what I can see . Can't see where the next point is coming from let alone a win. What are these new owners going to do about it ?

How much are we paying Lemar Reynolds per week to be a professional footballer ?
Surely those wages can be put to better use!!!

I think we should keep Peter Taylor on till at least February. He's so wonderfully brilliant at being a MANAGER and could quite possibly be the nicest bloke in football.

With reference to the title of this thread.

I'll let you know when we get one. :uhoh:

We do exactly the same thing every week. I'm not digging out any particular player, but we all know none of them bar Matt Robinson , Ben Nunn and Elliot Romain would have got even a place on the bench last year. This team despite all its effort will take us down. Ain't gonna lie I only went cos the boy was treating me to pie and mash and I had a friends unused ST. The new owners must surely have some aspirations to stay up at least. I can't see any evidence of them .

To make matters worst, Both Dover & Braintree picked up points away from home against Salford & Harrogate!
Looks like Dover could be about to pick up with Hessenthaler now at the helm.

They probably want the land that the ground is on and turn it in to a new Walmart. Which would be ideal for quite a few of our players, because let's face it they're never footballers.
Peter Taylor can be in charge of the deli.

This team is simply not good enough. Not sure if the new owners read this forum but if they had any sense they would so they can understand what is really going on here. This team will take us down. No lack of effort but there is zero in the way of quality. I might be wrong but it seems to me that having owners who are never actually here to watch the team is a recipe for disaster. I still don’t even understand why they bought us in the first place and now even less if they really don’t have a short term plan to save us from this mess.

A point did someone say a point, if only we could get that! Absolute shambles once again Taylor can piss off and Mullins can carry him down the road the complete cart horse.

£20 at Boreham next Saturday hahahaha would rather stick needles down my helmet hole.

All the teams around us have reacted we just sit by and watch it crumble just like Burnett era but no surprise because Thompson is still in charge, we might have new owners but nothings changed. That’s me done for as few weeks.

To be fair to Taylor though, I think even Pep or Mourinho would struggle to get anything out of this shower!
It’s BETTER QUALITY players we need, as somebody touched on earlier in this thread, how many of this current crop would of made our bench last season?

Robinson,Nunn,Gordon maybe Romain and that’s out of a 24 man squad ... but I don’t think any of them would of got in the starting XI

But he signed them all, the only decent ones have been left over from last season. Can’t talk budgets when teams like Accrington defy odds year after year against much bigger teams. Solihull are part time and are more than 3 times as many points better off at present. He has failed miserably and needs to go.

Garry Hill was in the clubhouse today he couldn’t do any worse, he kept Woking up and as soon as he left they dropped. Short term solution mind.

I can't see why Taylor dosent play Hoyte. He has experience and can play. Not seeing how the bloke with the pineapple on his head ( McQueen) gets a start either.

Putting Kandi on for Nunn at right-back when Gavin Hoyte was sitting on the bench summed it up for me. Our best performers are either loanees or the scraps left from last season's squad. Not a single one of our signings has looked even remotely decent maybe with the exception of Munns, who looks okay from what brief glimpses we've had of him, but given that the new influx of money allowed us to bring him in, is hardly a worldbeater.

Maggy Drew was a bit anonymous today, yet another player we thought was brilliant but is wasting away in the conference.
