We didn’t lose.

Munns scored and did pretty well all round - our best player. Presumably Pennell was unavailable and with two full backs he had to play Clark there (who's played there in his career). We did not draw because of that we simply didn't kill them off when we could have.

And Munns has been playing wide left during our recent run of wins, but hey, let’s open a Taylor out poll as soon as we drop points.

Correct, Felt like a loss playing against a out of form 10 men for 60 mins.

Tricky concept, the draw.

Edited by admin. Bit of verbal jousting is ok but this was just outright personal abuse.

Halifax fan here.
I didn't attend the game however i have seen some of the key incidents via a fan at the game.

I think its quite hillarious that some of you are having a go at kossy for diving. Yet your lot charging in at a perfectly fair challenge got our player sent off is perfectly acceptable.
I don't question kossy is a hot head he gets booked almost every week including today.

Nunn didn't get "involved". He had a player run into him deliberately and then dive.
Kosylo was trying to get Clark in trouble in the first half and was also trying to get Robsinkn sent off in the second half.

Not sure how we was the best player. He did nothing after the cross/shot in the first few minutes.

Fair tackle? Pull the other one. The sound of studs on shin pad echoed around the ground. It was awful.

Before he went off, Staunton showed the only bit of class that any of your players showed all day and went and apologised to McQueen for the challenge.
He was unlucky because he got done by a poor pass, but he knew it was a sending off and pretty much the only one not moaning to the ref.

The ref had gone to his pocket before any of our players got anywhere near.
Your players got in the refs face at any opportunity.

Kosylo isn't a hot head. He's a cheating scumbag.
He's intention in the second half was to get someone sent off.

You can't win every week, a points better than nothing.

The manner in which we fortunately escaped the Bromley and Hartlepool games with three points made a result like this inevitable but it's all very frustrating because we had more than enough to brush away a very limited and one-dimensional side. For one reason or another, though, it just didn't seem to click for us in certain areas and although we had most of the chances (Munns free-kick, Wilkinson blocked effort from a few yards out and Adeloye's right at the end were all good opportunities) we never really deserved to win. Definitely didn't make the man advantage count for the third time this season which makes me wonder whether we'd have preferred playing against eleven because after Staunton's red, they went into protective mode and became hard to break down. Only when Munns put us ahead with a very impressive finish did Halifax finally come out and attack us, unfortunately our defending from set-pieces - which has been one of our better aspects in recent weeks - let us down. With a hard period coming up of course it would've been nice to get another three points to relieve the pressure during then but, considering we could barely buy a point in August and September, settling for one really isn't too disheartening. 14th in the table now and above Barnet of all teams - who'd have anticipated that 6 weeks ago? Frustrating but we go again.
