If you read the post carefully, you will understand that it conveys that I used to go to away games here and there AND in the Ryman’s League day’s did them all - I did not see any point in traveling further than the grounds the games were being played at. For many of us, priorities change.
I admire any football fan who travels the length and breadth of the country to do it, I know a few that do for different teams. They are usually single blokes with no other committments though (or one I know has a partner who supports another team and she does the same!).
I attend every home game and a few away (was at Ebbsfleet and will be at Braintree) so I feel like I'm pretty entitled to form a view on the team!
