Not if his contract was terminated, might be a loan deal to permanently signing? If we’re flying with him in the team be mad not to keep him.

Now not coming back, leaves a huge hole someone has to step up. New captain also required.

I imagine we could be on the cusp of the season being suspended if not scrapped

No chance the national league will be the plug it will give the EFL clubs the chances to stop promotion altogether.
