Fascinated to see if it's a fourth different starting eleven this season... Will Hare and Johnson remain in the back 3?

No excuses for not winning this one in front of our own fans

I cannot see a clear reason as to why he doesn't put the three big lads at the back - and choose a couple from Hare, Johnson, Ling, Weston, Vilhete for the wingbacks.

Well that answered my question... different eleven again... but same back 3. No excuses if it's the same mistakes at the back again this afternoon

Good to get the first win under our belts, a bit nerves at the end but Justham saved the day again, we should be climbing the league now and resetting the status quo, Barnet top of the league.. Southend above us…. Outrageous

Well we won but apart from that I was entirely underwhelmed again. No cohesion. No fluidity. The opposition were dire but they still should have won by 2 or 3 clear goals and but for Justham would have. This team is going nowhere fast. Bottom 8 if we are lucky.

That was a bang average performance and a game that frankly we were b*****d lucky to win.

Goal aside, we had two or three good chances to really put them to bed and fluffed them.

They on the other hand were denied by a very good goalkeeping display (by way of the big saves) and the head of McCallum in and around the box.

They'll be scratching their heads how they didn't get at least a point off us.

It's nice to get that first win out of the way, but Maidenhead are a bang average, mid to lower 3rd of the league team and we huffed and puffed all the way through. Hard working, yes - but nothing particularly troublesome.

We made them look better with the appalling passing, silly tippy tappy flicks and tricks that didn't come off most of the time and diagonal balls that call for players stood on top of a team mate's shoulders.

If you're going to play a back 3, make sure they are lumps - Johnson and Hare aren't cut out for it physically.

A better team with more in the forward positions would have embarrassed us today.

Those 3 points are merely a slither of paper to cover the cracks.

Think it was our best performance of the season on chances created, yes we didn’t take them but looked far more threatening than against the 3 previous opponents. Last season we were scoring for fun not so much this season hence the results. Justham doing what he’s done for years bailing us out when required, still far too many chance from set pieces conceded yet again.

Yeovil next with 3 points a must because the next few opponents I can’t see us getting too many points. Come the end of September we will know where we are for the season, we need to be in the top 7 plain and simple nothing less is acceptable.

Only positive was the result.

Hanging on for dear life in the last 20 minutes, against MAIDENHEAD ffs.

The whole thing is so dis-jointed, nobody knows where there supposed to be playing in this system with the exception of Justham !!.

It's all so frustrating, because if we played with a back 4, then we would have every chance of making the playoffs, as our squad is decent enough, we have good players, but no chance with this nonsense system that we are being treated to.

We will get embarrassed when the bigger boys turn up to play us, fear there is a real big defeat
coming our way soon.

Still not too late though, Mr McMahon, to admit you've got it wrong, and change it around...........

what that feckin system that 90% of the world are playing!
It’s not the system it’s the retards he’s got playing it!!
Hare seriously, johnson seriously!
This club was brought up on goodwin, cole, vickers, matthews, look at em and they’d butcher ya.
These are the types of people we need to bring in, not the shite we are bringing in.
Thhink we probably need to look further afield, ie the north where they’ve got a bit of bollocks about em.
