Balanta has left by mutual agreement. Club obviously can't sell him so give him away for free.

Interesting one... Initially assumed we would only have been letting him or Manny go due to wage/ financial costs but then we have let him go via mutual agreement which would suggest a financial pay off to get rid of the contract? Fascinated to see if he already has a move lined up to somewhere like BW as a return that may suggest why he accepted a offer to go without a hefty hit on our finances.

Must have a club lined up with us paying the difference as we wanted him gone. For the high energy game Strevs wants to play he was not going to feature or last the course. Fantastic ability for this level but his body just couldn’t deal with it, such a shame.

Not unexpected because of his injury record, but when he was fit he could sometimes turn a game in our favour. For that reason I am sorry to see him go.

Good luck Angelo.

Absolute class player. Such a shame about his injuries . I wish him well and I hope that he is able to continue playing at some level.

The right call unfortunately. A unique and supremely intelligent technician when operating at optimum capacity but unfortunately won't reach those levels again and we obviously could not risk a third season where the outlay on him went unjustified. Came back looking sharp with goals in each of his first two starts against Aldershot then Notts County last season but quickly looked unfit again, and is never too far from the next muscle injury. 25 starts in two years demonstrates that and at 33 that number would only decrease still, but hopefully can do well somewhere maybe on a part-time basis.
