We are still 19th despite that ridiculous loss at home to Exeter last night.Meanwhile Luton are now in the play off positions with Johnny hoof pissing himself laughing at how we played last night.Shall we just ring them up and give them the points now ?

We only 11 off top and we have not started yet. Hopefully we are going through a bad run that every team has.

Another thing only three games decided by two or more goals this weekend showing how tight this league is.

Sorry only trying to put a posative spin on a very bleak picture.

Who gives a toss where Luton are and what Johnny hoofball is thinking, i certainly don't. All i care about is where and when we are going to play 2 reasonable halves of football with 3 points at the end of it.

I don't wanna go back to long ball, but football is a results business. It seems that we play the long ball at the wrong time and then play football in dangerous areas, particularly Connors and lose possession constantly. It's about developing the right blend which WB hasn't a Scooby Doo about. The best way to learn is by one's mistakes, so why can't we do it.

It was an example of people playing football in the wrong place wasn't it?
Like the time in the first half when he decided to take on one of their players when he was essentially the last man and wasn't good/quick enough to beat him and got very lucky to be given a free kick.

Connors is picked out by the opposition all the time as he is weak and naïve.This aint his fault and can be worked on by the right manager but it is costing us.Thug was probably a contender for our worst player last night and is too slow.So now we have a football reason to get rid of him too.

All your old foe needs is a slight change to the rules like each half being 4o minutes each way. At Cheltenham he look adequate for 80 minutes and then became very dodgy.

Here is an example of the Manager getting it badly wrong. The last time our defence was tested he air's a clearance that goes through his legs and allows the Cheltenham lad a late equaliser. Previous to that he sees him haul down a Pompey player and gives away a penalty when we are still in the game

Now I appreciate he went there as a stop gap after Gayle never worked out and Doe got injured , but after seeing that he still prefers him to the vastly more experienced now fit Doe who despite the odd blunder has been season after season one of our most consistent players.

What a crackerjack of a decision this looked on 81 minutes last night because despite us being given a chasing for most of the half was Cousins ever tested upto that point.

What went through his head lord only knows the opponent was so wide he was heading down the tunnel and the penalty cost us at least a point if not three.

Now somehow I cant see Scott Doe making such a challenge and for that the Manager surely has to take the blame.

The most disappointing thing about the penalty is that we know about Partridge's lack of pace and you could see the incident coming 40 yards out from goal as the player began to go past him... as already said, the Exeter player was heading off in to the Away crowd so completely unnecessary penalty to give away

Less worried about their goals and more concerned that we let a very good team, full of confidence, back in to a game that we controlled until half time because we decided to not push on after 45 minutes and keep them on the back foot... the ability to turn from a great passing team to a poor 'try to hit them on the counter attack but actually just let them boss the midfield' team... if we play a match with Doidge up front in a three with two wide playrs I will at least understand the way we transform in to a hit and hope side... the memory of Cureton almost breaking down at the half way line on Friday a 2-1 was heart breaking
