You'd still have to honour that contract and pay him till 2017 mate. Best to get shot and cash in now. I've heard man city are willing to pay up to £40 million rather that than go for free when the contract expires. Reinvest that money in players who actually want to play for them, because he clearly does not.

This among other reasons is why about 10 years ago I decided to stop following the premier league and follow Dagenham and Redbridge. How can any one of us relate to that? it's sickening in the least to see and quite vulgar too. Liverpool should get shot, that kind of thing can only damage the atmosphere of a club.
