Anyone been watching? Could be all over in the morning. It's certainly been a kick up the back side for our players though, thinking the Aussies were going to be a walk over, hoping it makes us stronger for the future. The players just seem not to be in the right frame of mind and lacking confidence. Some of the experienced test players aren't performing, Joe Root and Michael Carberry have impressed me a lot! I have a feeling that if/when we do lose this 3rd test, we may play a few younger players in the final 2 tests, especially Tymal Mills, only English bowler on the tour that can go at the same pace as Mitchell Johnson, he's definitely a good prospect for England and Essex! Just hoping we can regain some confidence in the last 2 matches.

The whole series has been an embarrassment as we haven't scored enough runs especially in the first innings & when we do bat most of them especially The Ego (Pietersen to those who don't know) who seems to have an ambition to get caught out in every Test notably off Siddle throw their wickets away, the bowling & fielding were lamentable & England clearly lacked leadership & few enhanced their reputations although Root, Carberry & Stokes haven't done too bad overall plus Bell & Broad on a couple of occasions. Most of the others have been poor & they know it!!

Stokes batted superbly today he's performed well with bat and ball in this match. The fielding was an absolute shambles, Bresnan put in so much effort with his bowling and that unlucky catch on the boundary, but no one fancied giving him some help in the field! Wouldn't be surprised if we're all out by lunch.
