I personally cant see anyone of those players (inc those on contracts to 2018) here next season.
If the chat on another thread re wages for May and June not getting paid is true, the club will fold imo.
The next question is how quickly can a club reform before next season. Im reluctant to put £199 forward for a season ticket until the club issues a statement confirming its status for 2018/19 season. Its a catch 22 at mo.

I don't see any of the more experienced players here next season, maybe one or two kids. If the club is here of course. Anyone on a contract that does not expire until next year will more than likely go elsewhere if no transfer fee is agreed but they may not get the wages they are currently on.

I suppose this is the point where we discover how bad finances are. If as the club has been saying they have no other debts and the issue is covering wage bill. Assume all players with contracts expiring end of this season will be released. No expert on football contracts, but players who's contracts expire next year would they have to pay off unless player agrees to be released?

All the contracts that are expiring in 2018 will expire on the 30th of May

Had a chat with Luke after the Maidenhead match, said that he didn't think he'd stay. There had been no talks and he expected the club to take some cheaper options.

Will be really sad to see him go, if he does. We're always a better team with him in it, and a good bloke.

If we do have a team next season I don't see any of the current players here unless we get good investment.

I hope we don’t find ourselves in the same position the O’s did last summer.
Through being unsure of funding until the take-over was completed, and with many of their
first teamers departing, they weren’t able to start recruiting until July.

I hope we actually have a football club after the summer.

Anything else has to be seen as a bonus the way things currently stand.

Simply from what we've seen this season... surely we can do worse than promote some of the Youth. They've had some great games

Perhaps Micah Hyde should be given a shot too ...

Be on 1/3 of the money stilly enjoys and would enable John to take a much deserved early retirement.
