Dagman1992 wrote: Fri Jun 01, 2018 12:34 pm People will recall, not that long ago, Mr. MBE gave himself a payrise and continues to draw a very healthy salary.

Given the cutbacks and redundancies being made, I look forward to the next announcement that he will be aiding current "efforts" by taking a paycut.
THIS. All I read about is cutbacks on staff everywhere - but oddly nothing about cutbacks in the "upper" areas. If ST was really serious about it being a joint effort he would volunteer a pay cut. Dagman1992 is spot on..... until that happens, sorry but I am not putting in a penny to help. Otherwise might as well rename the campaign "Save Thommo's Salary".
Has anyone actually asked before jumping on this bandwagon?

Guessing not....

I'm told that Thommo has taken a significant pay cut.

Like many people I'm guessing he doesn't want to broadcast his salary. Details will be in the accounts so if you want them I suggest becoming a member.

If ST has taken a pay cut then that should offset the £150k.

Unless that reduced pay was already factored in to the budget when the £150k figure was reached of course....

Which makes you think how much he was paying himself in the first place for doing an awful job.

They said at the fans neeting that £70k was already contributed and my guess was JS salary. I doubt ST salary factored in anywhere at mo. To appease us fans he would have made that clear that night but as he didn't i am of the opinion that it isn't.

Poor Mike - must have severe Jaw ache after the last few weeks acting as Bennett & Thompson's mouthpiece.

"We're busy actually right now signing up even more players on top of the existing commitments we have, but can you pay for it for us

10/10 for pisstake value."
So, maybe these arseholes get it now. Everyone we had on contract is up for sale.

We retained the low wage earners as a starting point and are selling the big wages if we can get any kind of fee.

More to come I would guess.

Donations to the appeal seems to have dried up or the Monitor is not being updated because it does not appear to have moved at all in the last two weeks.
