With the completed takeover this week and our American cousins saving the club from potential extinction, I would like to know what has happened with the donations fans have made to the club since that evening in May when all the problems we now know was publicized etc?
Does anyone know or has a theory!

Used to assist with the shortfall in funding which was the point of making a donation do you think. But yes it's a puzzle and no mistake

My theory is they’ve been used to pay wages and overheads. It’s crackers, I know.

My understabding was that a target was set for the season, not till mid September. So any donations received (pending on how much) would be helped to funf the team over a 12 month period. It'll be interesting to read what the club did with it?

I would have thought any donations would have gone towards wages and other bills prior to the takeover, not sure why the question needs to be asked! If anyone donated I’m sure it wasn’t with a provision of it being returned if a takeover was successful, any detail of spending will be detailed in future club financial returns I would think, I’m not an accountant so not 100% sure

So you try to raise 150 for whole season, but get 50. You therefore sign loans and contracts for a limited period, eg McQueen to end December. People are always looking for clues.
