Re: Sagaf
I agree with this comment. With the money that has been available to Daryl you would have thought we would have made a far bigger impact on this league. Unfortunately it seems he has wasted far too much money in getting in ‘average Joe players” who have made little impact.

Re: Yoan Zouma
Can’t believe that West Hsm have picked Kurt Zouma for tonight’s match against Watford. Dagenham & Redbridge l am sure would not have done that !

Re: Spennymoor
Went to Spennymoor to watch Ilford play in the Rothman’s Cup Competition on the 21st February 1976. It was a long drive from Ilford on a damp and foggy day. Ilford won 2-0, with a side that included John Still and Tony Bass, who in fact scored one of the goals. Waited 48 years to see this team play ...

Re: Crucial Week.
Totally agree the above. With Rance and or Jones in the side we look a far more meaningful team. When the likes of Morias and Akanbi are in the team we do play and look like an extremely average team. Now Walker is fit and McCallum could be nearly ready to return, the likes of Morias and Akanbi shou...

Re: Time for Daryl to go?
Where do you start............... Appalling recruitment. Signing a complete bunch of players that quite obviously other teams do not want, including players with a known history of injuries, ie Walker and Jones and we are now suffering because of this. Chronic team selection, having to change the te...

Re: Junior Morias
When it states, we paid a five-figure sum for this chap, l hope they have have taken account of the pennies , ie £100.00. Even then, by the fans of all his previous clubs, that would be too much

Re: New Southend management team
Yes, should be interesting. However apart from Darren Currie who always seemed to do his best. Kevin Maher was always injured and Mark Bentley never lived up to his potential and was one of the worst players ever to put on our shirt. Cannot see all three lasting the course. For God's sake, let's hop...

George Saunders
Its been plain to see for some time now that the lad (at the moment at least) is way out of his depth, both physically and confidence-wise for this league. Despite the platitudes of the Hornchurch manager, Mark Stimson, when we signed him, he has not developed into the player we require at this pres...

New Season
Interested to know what other supporters feel about the close season and their aspirations for the new coming season. starting with away game at Stockport, then a few weeks later at Wrexham which represent a really difficult start. Already friendlies are being cancelled due to injuries, which really...

Re: Chesterfield (A)
Thought all the problems from the past came back big time in this game. Woeful performances by Robinson, Jones, Weston and Saunders (who needs some serious building up if he is serious about being a professional footballer). Also didn’t look like McCallum fancied the game either, which he was withdr...

Re: Eastleigh (A)
Another, what only can be described as a completely woeful performance, McMahon must be shown the door ! The players look totally disinterested, lack any kind of desire or passion. Most of all they look unfit. Past players like Tim Cole, Lee Matthews, Ashley Vickers, Tony Roberts gave their all for ...

Re: Darryl when you gonna earn your wages ?
Quite agree Redboy, the very point I made on Saturday. There appears to be a distinct lack of motivation running throughout the team. Both John Still and Garry Hill had this in “bucket loads” and transmitted this to the players. I do not see this in either Daryl McMahon or his sidekick, Steve Gritt,...

Re: Darryl when you gonna earn your wages ?
That game about sums up our season so far........utterly hopeless. Totally devoid of ideas, lacking in any kind of enthusiasm and energy. How on earth can Darryl McMahon defend such a woeful performance. Without Justham and to a lesser extent Deering, the whole team should hang their heads in shame....
