Re: Stockport (H)

So there are ways of finding streaming video online in countries that don't have rights to National League fixtures. I'll leave it at that. So I finally get to watch the Daggers live. Positives: The crowd sounded great as I was watching. Cons: I have a daughter visiting this evening so I need to get...

Re: Spennymoor

This is getting off topic, but as a new fan to English football what sort of revenue does a National League club see in a given year and what sort of expenses are clubs looking at. Are ticket sales and gate receipts (and food and drink and the club shop at the matches) the only real source of revenu...

Re: Spennymoor

What happens to the prize money, which starts out small and likely pays for transportation.

But the last round or two is enough to a) make the owner a bit richer b) add to the features of the stadium c) distributed to the team and staff is some sort of formula d) some of all of the above.

I was thinking the same thing. This might be an award I would just as soon pass on. And it comes right before a hard stretch.

Re: Southend (H) FA Trophy Thread

I don't know what it looked like live but it sounded exciting listening in on BBC Essex. Details on what happened after the second goal would be appreciated.

Re: National League Per Fixture Table

Here is an updated table after 15 January fixtures have finished. Daggers sitting at 6th in points. 8th place in points per fixtures, and also 8th if all clubs played equal number of fixtures as the Daggers and won all of those fixtures, which is of course impossible. Altrincham is actually at 24 fi...

Re: Dulwich Hamlet

The clue was that it was a "behind closed doors" friendly I could have been a bit more direct in my questions and I was posting from my lunch break and did not have to really go all in so I posted the short note and general question that I did. I guess I was wondering if this was a regula...

Re: National League Per Fixture Table

Interesting analysis there. The game in hand argument is a odd one to be fair, depending on the club and the potential opponents, as well as the time left to play the games can as much of a negative then a positive. It is sort of a worst case scenario in a way. And it truly would be worst case if b...

Re: National League Per Fixture Table

I updated my National League table to account for the fixtures on 8 January 2022. The official website has not been updated after today's fixtures but the Wikipedia page for this year's National League has been updated so I cut-and-pasted from that website this time. Daggers are 4th based on total p...

Re: Crucial Week.

And to think some people wanted Daryl out. For those that able to watch the fixtures in person is there anything specific that Daryl is doing differently during the last 5 or so fixtures or it is just the Daggers playing the clubs we are playing? We’ve played 2 really crap teams and one of them twi...

National League Per Fixture Table

The Daggers are sitting is 5th place in the table. I like it! However we have had two or three more fixtures than some clubs so I was curious what it would look like taking that into account. Google Sheets does a great job of maintaining formatting from a table to a spreadsheet so I was able to quic...
