Re: Transfers

The Goalkeeper is the only one I think could be of interest to any Championship or League one side even if only as a back up. Probably financially not worth it to any of them any lower then that as I expect even our more exciting players would struggle above League two and and would certainly not co...

Re: Stockport (H)

Agree with you Digger. When he took over I did not think we would go down but certainly knew we were not going up. Two years on and a fist full of dollars later looks like I am not the only one who still thinks that. Yesterday only compounded the thought. It's not about beating top teams like Stockp...

Re: Stockport (H)

The game was over in 5 minutes and that very good Stockport team beat us two nil with goals we absolutely gifted them. Whatever the game plan was well it was out the window in 5 minutes. Stockport looked a good team but at 2-0 the job was done and they did not have to do anything to get it. They cou...

Re: Torquay

Well it only took 18 seconds to see why we will more then likely be playing at this level again next season.

Said at the start of the season that you need 70 goals and 15 clean sheets .

At the seasons end the attacking players we will be able to proudly say well we did our bit.

Re: Dover (H) and Covid

So some of the staff are not going to be at the fixture in a few hours due to testing positive for Covid, including McMahon Are these breakthrough cases of those vaccinated or are these folks not vaxxed and have been playing with fire all this time. Editorial to follow based on the answers above. A...

Re: Aldershot

You will not find two poorer teams then Aldershot or Dover and we have another Turkey shoot on Sunday to make it four wins on the bounce. That will no doubt get People carried away . Arnu you have a new Tomlin in this new bloke , runs around a lot but don't seem to do much. His first touch was poor ...

Welcome Trialist D

Bit of a coup in my opinion. How Aldershot let him go on loan let alone offload him after not giving him much of a chance leaves me head scratching. Looking at their situation I would be amazed if they had anything better. Welcome Ibby , bet he is looking forward to the 28th. My only concearn about ...

Re: FA Cup

If Wealdstone had came up with this bit of nonsense I would have said " if my Auntie had a pair she would be my uncle. One thing ,if the home team takes the number for a future draw D is a long way from S in the alphabet and therefore we would have been a totally diffrent number. The winner of ...

Marvin Morgan

Very sad news of the passing of Marvin Morgan at the young age of 38.

Tragic news and certainly no age .

Re: Grimsby

Just goes to show we don’t need McCallum to get a result against one of the better sides in the division and probably better off using his wage on Top Quality commanding centre off. Was nice to have some movement up top (Akanbi) a right handful for the oppo’s defence all afternoon, stretching and d...

Re: Grimsby

All out strikers are out? Akanbi now injured? McMahon said everyone bar McCallum and Clarke should be fit for the trophy match, but we all know that’s never going to happen. He can't play against Aldershot so let's hope we at least have an option fit. The Trophy game is an ideal opportunity to get ...

Re: Grimsby

Great result, strange how bolanta always seems to shine when mccullum doesnt play lol. I dont think Balanta and McCullum play well together. Saying that, our best spell earlier on the season coincides with Balanta being injured. Mmmmm interesting . Now with all our Strikers out do we use the Trophy...

Re: Grimsby

I've felt for a long time we have severe issues ongoing with with either the training facilities and/or methods and/or physiotherapy dept. It cannot be through sheer bad luck that year, after year, after year we repeatedly have a massively depleted squad because of injury. Until that gets fixed we ...

Re: Grimsby

A bout of Man Flu kept me away today but that has perked me up. Time to be fair I have been critical in recent weeks but that was a hell of an effort to dig out a win there . Was we fortunate that Grimsby committed harri kari with the sending off?, The mixer Commentary could not believe he done such...
