Re: Too much passion or just irresponsibility?

It was pretty naïve I thought..but he wouldn't be the first player to be wound up & end up going off whilst the protagonist stays on. If we have to receive yellow or red cards, personally I prefer them to be for strong tackles rather than off-the-ball handbag tussles like on Saturday. We'll cert...

Re: Jack Connors

I just don't know how either of our full backs are on professional contracts  Connors is just not up to it. The kid simply can't tackle & you might as well forget about him winning a header with any hint of an opposition player in the vicinity. His "passing" (particularly in the ...

Re: Newport

I'd be keen for us to go for a novel approach at home by scoring more goals than the opposition and therefore winning the game.

Be lovely for our soft lads at the back to make the odd challenge/tackle/header as well..might help with the above.

C'mon you Daggers..!! 8-)

Re: Dagenham East Sainsburys/Parking on matchdays

Think it would be a decent idea Tom if there was more of a pressing need on a matchday..but it does seem to be pretty ok at the moment.

For busier matches, my Dad & I tend to park a little bit further away..but it's never usually more than a 5-10 min walk which I don't think is too bad..

Re: Doidge Spat

Bit harsh for Doidge to get dragged into these two "egos" having a spat I reckon. Regardless of the dizzy heights (cough cough) both Aizelwood & Edinburgh attained in their glittering playing & managerial careers, neither of them could be accused of handling themselves in a particu...

Why...??

Why is the Exeter game on a Friday? Why have we been put down for two consecutive home games twice already this season? I am genuinely curious, although self-interest due to me missing the last two and the next two homes games (whilst having a shiny new season ticket..d'oh!) has a little to do with ...

I'd probably have to go for Phil Ifil as well..reckon his best position was mopping up the scraps in the snack bar.

Re: Season Tickets

Got one each for me & my Dad..haven't bought one since about 20yrs ago. Great saving! The pay on the day stuff is a tough one..I've been asked by a few people in recent times "how much is it to get in over the Daggers, summink like a fiver?" Do wonder how cheap it would really have to ...

Re: TB Stand

Reckon Cambridge and Stevenage might bring a fair few next year. There's also the random couple of games where an away team is near the top of the table & brings a few extra as well. Do agree that it doesn't make a massive amount of sense to give the away fans the best part of the ground..but I'...

Re: Luke Norris...

He's got ability, but I can't say he's ever looked more than a player going through the motions during a loan move in advance of a different move. Great to get those few spectacular long range goals..problem is, once defenders manage to block those shots, actually linking up with the rest of the tea...

Re: Players contracts.

The getting forward thing is probably why Wayne gave Connors a go on the wing - he'd barely crossed the halfway line this season up til know, and certainly hadn't got a sniff of the opposition byline. Didn't work out too well though..I don't mind Connors, but a lot of opposition do ping diagonal bal...
