Re: New signings
If Lee Allinson can get these players to gel then I think we will have a superb season. He has shown that he is brutal already so I don't think he is interested in any player who thinks that this might be a retirement home or big final pay day. And if any of these players think this is an easy ride ...

Re: Southend
Same thing happened to us under Freund and Club Underdog. Both thought that taking a non-league club up to the Championship and beyond was a breeze until it isn't. I think that the whole Wrexham thing has made it attractive to anyone globally who has made a mint in other industries to step in and do ...

Re: Southend
Imagine us firing the legendary Ted Hardy after the 1997 final - and we lost that one! I would love to see us have a proper tilt at the FA Trophy next season. A trip to Wembley would do wonders for the support and if Wealdstone can get there then surely we can.

Re: Season Tickets
I genuinely think that next season is going to be fantastic and tickets will be at a premium. £250 for a seat and over 20 matches is a steal if the atmosphere continues like it has recently. And there is a small chance that we might be back in the National League. Let's give the club some credit ...

Re: Easter (Hornchurch & Chelmsford)
They did it for the Play Off final against Aveley. It's grim. Miles away from the pitch in a corner with no roof. I think it's probably fair to say that Hornchurch is the worst ground in this league.

Re: Saturday's game streamed live on YouTube
Saturday's game v Hampton & Richmond is going to be streamed live for free on KSI's youtube channel.
Not sure how this will affect the attendance, seeing as it is non-league day.
I think that the 'KSI effect' and the atmosphere at the recent home games will likely boost the crowd rather than ...

Re: MARCH POLL
Ted Hardy was pretty good. Got us to Wembley in his first season but the rest have been very disappointing considering the budgets they had.Diggerthedog wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2026 10:29 pm No Peter Taylor? We’ve had some atrocious mangers haven’t we, bar John Still and Garry Hill they’ve all been really bad, unluckiest fans on the planet.

Re: Lee Bradbury - GONE
I hate to gloat when any person loses their job and I wish him well for the future but Lee has served up some absolute dross this season and I I think that the squad is better than the performances. Now we will see if these players are actually any good. Could be an interesting end to the season.

Re: New Manager?
I'm totally done with this manager now and the shambles on the pitch. Yes we had the ball but we are completely clueless with what to do with it. Once again, it's worth pointing out that these are 'professionals' playing a team of Semi Pros who are going down and yet they played with more energy ...

Re: Thompson steps down
Nobody can say that he didn't put his heart and soul in to our club and he deserves some respect.
The reality, however, is that things got much worse at the club since he was given full reign and his legacy isn't great. He upset a lot of the hardcore fans and members of the club who were the ...

Re: Totton (h))
You have a week at work and you want to be entertained on a Saturday afternoon. Gary Hill giants, those supporters at Charlton that glorious day 25 years ago, couldn't think it could get any better than that. John Still fantastic team that took us into the football league, With the structure in ...

Re: New Owners Announced
Anyone interested in looking to invest in football clubs are certainly not doing it to make money and even more so in our case as we don't own the ground.
Looking forward to finding out more in the coming weeks.
Then “investing” isn’t the correct term is it? It’s more of purchasing an ...

Re: January poll: Sack Bradbury?
Yep - Thommo has always been reticent to sack managers and he isn't suddenly going to start now. With Club Underdog as our current owners and no news about a takeover we probably haven't go the money to sack him so that's it until the end of the season. Hopefully we will change our business model in ...

Re: Wealdstone (a)
We have a poor team, a poor manager and owners who will be bailing out at the end of this season. Regardless of whether we get relegated again I think we will be part time next year and hopefully this mob will be gone and forgotten. We are a laughing stock club now, lurching from one self inflicted ...

Re: Hemel (A)
That’s part of the problem. As we all know from experience, the best part time players are usually much better than the worst professionals and that’s what we’re seeing now. We must be the lowest ranked professional team in the country now and all we are doing now is giving some of the dregs of pro ...
