This time 25 years ago many of us were arriving in a certain corner of South East London!!
Cannot believe it’s that long ago since that great occasion and to be honest it’s made me feel more than a little old!!
Also made me feel a little sad with where we are now. That day was a springboard for 10 ...

Re: Hanwell Town [h]
I actually really enjoyed Saturday’s game to be honest. It was frustrating in many ways but still enjoyable.
I thought for 20 mins we played really well and then for the rest of the first half we were awful. Their captain then paid the price for wanting to look like the tough man on his big day out ...

Re: Chesham [h]
The keeper was obviously at fault for the specifics, but the 15 minutes before that had all been played in our half. The first ten after the break had been all us, and by pressing the ball we created opportunities like the one Lawless should have scored with. Then suddenly we just retreated, which ...

Would also mean 3 wins in 4 and 1 defeat in 5.
Along with the announcement (of sorts) in the week, would this allow there to be some positivity about the place??

Re: When do we get to see the New Owners?
Whether we would have been better going bust at that point is debatable, but it should absolutely have been the point we took a step back and gone part time and dealt with that accordingly.
Is quite frightening we are a professional club when you watch games like tonight.

Re: Horsham [ h]
Have absolutely no problem with us whacking it to Carroll, it’s what happens next that’s the issue. Was there a midfielder out there at all for us all night??
Surely they know he is either gonna win it or it’s going to drop off the defender but absolutely zero desire or commitment to get to the ...

Re: When do we get to see the New Owners?
Tonight should be an example of why money is not half of the problem!!
I would imagine Horsham’s budget is a fraction of ours and they’ve just given us a lesson.
People need to stop obsessing with budgets and investments and remember what we are (or used to be) all about.

Oh, and of course the second leg and replay against Gloucester in 1997. Not sure how I forgot them with 20 to choose from!!

Re: Fixtures 25/26
Maidstone did play in the FL as well, Mr J Still got them there, in the early 90s. They played at Dartford at that time and then went out of business. Side included the likes of Ken Charley, Tony Sorrell and Warren Barton who will be familiar to Red Forest/Dagenham fans.

Re: Fixtures 25/26
It was at Hampton and Richmond that we sealed the Ryman League title on Easter Saturday 2000. One of the best Dagenham games I’ve ever seen. I also think that year Chesham may have been the only team to take points off of us at home (could be wrong there)??

Re: Season ticket prices
The loyalty discount has its own line on the poster/flier on the site, so not sure why that’s difficult to follow??

Re: Season ticket prices
Difficult balancing act on the pricing I would say.
Am guessing Matchday prices will be 18 or 19 for a terrace, which means if you get a full price ST you need to go to 19-20 of the 23 home games to make it pay for itself.

Re: Tom Eastman signed for Maldon and Tiptree
Is kind of irrelevant what our attendances will be when talking about Maldon’s?? Maldon are likely to be the next club to go pop when the money runs out and they’re left with a load of contracts they can’t afford. They may get more than 250 for a few games when they are winning, but it won’t last ...
