Re: Managerial candidates
I’m not sure in what world established EFL manager Danny Cowley or NL promotion contender Luke Garrard are realistic possibilities. The club has been in a constant decline for over a decade and we are well off either of those levels. People have to accept that reality. If we want to get back to that ...

Re: Hampton and Richmond (h)
I think his biggest positive change was the easiest thing to do - he has massively improved the mood around the squad. He has stopped boring them with rigid sideways and backwards nonsense, trying to shithouse a 1-0 on the road to Chippenham, and instead is letting them be more direct. We never saw ...

Good. Let’s get the right man in now. I’m not doing another season in this shit league.

Re: Farnborough (a)
Hearing Dieng is now out for the season is probably the best takeaway from the game. I’m not sure if he’s on a one or two year deal, but hopefully that’s the last we see of him. Easily the worst club captain in my time watching this club.

Re: MARCH POLL
We have had some terrible managers, but Young is the worst of the lot and it’s not even a question. The damage he do to this club will impact us for so much longer than the 5 months it took him to inflict it

Re: New Manager?
It would be great if we got rid of Bradbury now. But unless he’s on a 2 year deal, which I doubt he is, the owners aren’t going to payout for an extended preseason. I don’t blame them either.
Instead I’d rather we start working on a replacement behind the scenes now. Then the day after the season ...

Re: Thompson steps down
In my few dealings over the years with Steve Thompson I have always found him pleasant, professional and helpful. What I cannot understand is the absolute character assassination on here.
All of this is merely hearsay and meaningless as who can say any of this is true because the people often ...

Re: KSI purchases the club
He’s a shareholder and strategic partner. Exactly how it should be. This bloke knows how to engage the younger generation better than anyone in the country. But he won’t be entirely responsible for decisions over the manager. The real money funding us will come from elsewhere.

Re: New Owners Announced
How much of a slice of the club does ST own? Is it enough he can't just be fired?
He owns next to nothing unless he managed to get a revised stake in this new consortium. But he is employed by the club and it is not easy (or cheap) to dismiss someone in this country without serious cause to ...

Re: Thompson steps down
This is probably the most important thing to happen to the club since we narrowly avoided going out of business altogether. Think we could all say so many different things about the situation, but I’ll just say it’s long overdue. Really, really, really long overdue. So a huge credit goes to Anwar ...

You have a week at work and you want to be entertained on a Saturday afternoon. Gary Hill giants, those supporters at Charlton that glorious day 25 years ago, couldn't think it could get any better than that. John Still fantastic team that took us into the football league, With the structure in ...

Going to go for 1-0 down at half time, 1-0 down at full time, and another injury. The usual, really.

Re: League 2 Wages
Doesn’t shock me at all if it’s true. We are probably paying a considerably higher average wage now than what we were in our last league two season, despite being 2 leagues below and the players 10 times more useless,
We’re just as mad as the rest of the progressional clubs, unfortunately.

Re: Players Contracts.
Well what a cracking bit of business it was to sign Marsh and Dieng for 2 years. It’s like Hessenthaler & N’Guessan all over again but somehow even worse.
