Re: Cheltenham
I think our current squad has potentially a lot of the capabilities to get promoted straight away, they just need to play with confidence again. I thought there were some moments of promise today that did make me wonder if we could get promoted straight away. We only have 2 centre backs that are our...

Re: Jodi Jones
Dwight Gayle and Scott Griffiths were both emergency loans to Peterborough in mid October time. I think this is a first for the club to lose a player after the January window.
Speaking of the loan window I see Murphy is with Wimbledon in time to get a couple more against us.

Re: Jodi Jones
I think the club just prays that at some point the Hemmings of last season might turn up which sadly hasn't happened.
Fair play to Jodi for being able to get himself a move to a bigger side. With the way we have been playing this season I'm amazed any club is interested in anyone we have.

Re: TBS Stand
is there a requirement to segregate fans at all in the conference. If not then open up at least part of the TBS to everyone, certainly the part where we can get to the bar. The one thing I will need when we are losing to Alfreton is the ability to go for a pint.

Re: What a waste of money....
Sadly I think Hines needs to leave us for his own good. I think Gowens physio abilities can only be compared to Sweeny Todd's success rate at haircuts. Look at the amount of times we have had a player out a week or two and he hasn't been back for months and most of our long term injuries never come ...

Re: Oh dear
I reckon Passley has to be in with a shout too. He's been the only player that seems to be trying outfield recently

Re: The Fat Lady is clearing her throat
I was in housing strategy. Now enjoying the pleasures of Greenwich council, thankfully there doesn't seem to be too many Charlton fans around to bore me.

Re: The Fat Lady is clearing her throat
I worked for the councils housing department till the other week and as far as I'm aware there has been no mention of doing anything to the daggers. The councils only involvement in the club is as far as I'm aware is funding the naming rights for the stadium and several Councillors / ex Councillors ...

Re: Jodi Jones
When the club put a madly high valuation on someone who had never played real first team football he was kinda doomed. The moment you quote a league 2 player as being worth more than 250k then he needs to be winning matches single handed I would say, that puts him at a greater value than a Dwight Ga...

Re: So Next Season.............
There could be a positive in the number of local...ish games we might have next year. From the Conference we have Braintree, Dover, Woking, Aldershot, Bromley, Eastleigh (well its nearer than half the clubs in the Conference), possibly Boreham Wood, I reckon Welling are pretty much down now so won't...

Re: So Next Season.............
Nice post Dagdale, a very positive spin on things, like it. I am also looking forward to a few new grounds. I had done most of the Conference before we came up, but have now done most of League Two (apart from Pompey and Mansfield) so suits me us going down (joke, joke, I know it is the worst thing...

Re: As bad as anything this season
As everyone has said what a terrible game. Looked awful and if your going to play with no wingers at all please get wing backs on the pitch that are actually going to attack and get forward. Need to take a moment to say well done to Labadie. His first season he was average and then the ban came alon...

Re: Awaiting the inevitable interview...
I was a little bit worried when I saw 2 extremely young and inexperienced centre backs on the team sheet how they would handle it. They don't look terrible but I think it needs someone with a few years of regular footie on their CV to help steady the back

Re: James Dunne
Considering he was apparently really great in he SPL and was part of the St Johnstone team that won their FA cup I expected someone who would be winning games for us single handed. He will be missed but i wonder if it's as much as we think, if the Everton game was anything to go by our new loanees w...

Re: John Still
As much as some people would say he won't take us to much and all he is capable of is mid table mediocrity. I would love that about now. A bit of a few wins and a few losses would make me bloody happy. I agree towards he end of Stills last time and some of the footie wasn't pleasant but Burnetts foo...
