Re: New signings
I saw Kymani Thomas play several times last season and from those performances he could be a very good signing in my opinion. Right sided young attacking player, fast, tricky and lots of energy.

Re: Hornchurch A
Last Saturday we had a good result with a poor performance against not a good team . Today we were well beaten by a better side with better players. In my opinion only 2 players came off this afternoon with any credit - Lawless and Leech. We were second best everywhere on the pitch. Out fought, out ...

Re: Enfield away
A very poor quality game which neither team deserved to win. Without defending Bradbury I thought his post match comments summed up the match and our performance and the match.
The starting XI did not have enough quality or physical presence particularly up front and in midfield. Things improved in ...

A very well written and thoughtful article Joel. Just about sums up a lot of my thoughts.

Re: Thompson steps down
I have never met ST and the only communication I have had with him has been by email. On those couple of occasions he was polite and helpful. Nor I do I know about the internal politics and his alleged behaviours . My view for some time now is that the club had been on a downward trajectory and as ...

Re: Thompson steps down
A wise decision for the future of the club and I hope for him personally. ST has made a very significant contribution to Dagenham & Redbridge FC over many years including the most successful period in the club’s history. I wish him well for the future and I am pleased that he will continue to be ...

Re: Chesham (A)
From the highlights it looked like we created more chances, defended well and the goal was well taken. So a very good away result against an in form team. I was expecting the worst after Maidenhead . Next up Totton on Saturday COYD

Re: Are the playoffs possible?
If we think the Daggers are inconsistent then spare a thought for Enfield supporters who after winning 5 nil the next game lose 8 nil.
A play off place for the Daggers is not impossible but highly improbable. Could be an interesting run in if we get a winning run going COYD

Re: New Owners Announced
Obviously there is more to find out and it is to be expected that after the experience of the past few years some skepticism is not unjustified . However I agree with with Pablo and Len that it should be seen as positive though not necessarily a guarantee of success on the pitch. Cautious optimism.

Re: Bath City (h)
Yes a big ask especially if Sam Howes is suspended. I think the options up front are better with the recent signings and the defence has been playing well . We showed good counter attacking play for a big win at Chelmsford and I thought we were unlucky against Ebbsfleet . So not out of the question ...

Re: Bath City (h)
Not the prettiest of games but I think credit needs to be given to Bath who might consider themselves hard done by not to get a draw. I think we just about deserved the win.
Our league form is good 4 wins, a draw and one loss ( against Ebbsfleet) in the last 6 matches and only bettered by the ...

Re: FEBRUARY POLL: Sack Bradbury now?
Most likely we will finish mid table this season so I don’t understand the need to change the manager now. So in my opinion the ownership needs to be sorted out first and foremost . The level of investment that is available will be key in determining the club’s future next season and beyond.

Re: Ebbsfleet
Very poor goal to concede. Second half performance a lot better and probably deserved a draw. Good penalty save by Howes. Stephenson up front on his own for the most part. Dismal ground. Hessenthaler showed a complete lack of class with his antics at the end.

Re: Flares
I don’t think a Chelmsford ‘ fan’ threw a red flare onto to pitch on Monday or was responsible for the red flare that was thrown onto the pitch in the home match against Hornchurch. No doubt that Chelmsford idiots were involved on Monday but the flare incidents are associated with D&R and the club ...
