Re: No answer?
Seems really unprofessional for the CHAIRMAN to not get back to a team interested in a player I'd say the unprofessional thing is talking to a player about signing without checking his status with his club first. If he's under contract, then are we not effectively tapping him up? Something which I'...

Re: Colchester
First home friendly I have been in years and it was ok. We played well in spells but against half a Colchester team the other half played at Dover last night. Fell apart when all the subs were made but overall could do better.

Re: Colchester
Boucard pulling the strings in this one, surely we can't be signing him? Played 40+ games in league one last season.

Re: Official prediction thread
So how have people's minds changed following recent signings and some unflattering results? With Rhys out until September we will struggle until he gets fit. About 15th for me this season if Rhys stays if not relegation dog fight, we all know what happens when you have no decent goalscorers.

Re: Ebbsfleet 4 Daggers 0
Agree with Adrian on this, our results against lesser teams have been very poor. Yes few trialists but these are supposed to be good enough and playing for contracts.
We lost four nil to a part time team, no excuses.

Re: Hoyte likely to sign
I liked him a lot at first, felt he was dropped by Stilly unfairly as he did ok.Think he was an ok RB by daggers standards but none of us thought he was ever as good as Abs in that position.Last season always looked angry, got sent off v pike...sorry Southend but was really our only option for RB now...

Re: Farewell Luke
What a charmer you are The player of 2012-13 spent the following season on the bench and I don't' recall any tantrums or lack of effort when limited opportunity arose but you remarkably see lack of heart The Manager clearly doesn't have him in his starting plans so good luck to him. Personally I th...

Re: Farewell Luke
I would take saah over wilkinson myself, it's all about opinions. He wanted to jump ship rather than fight for his place. Reminds me if Femi situation thinks he was better than he really was and when the going got tough the real player shone through.

Re: Farewell Luke
He was like a rabbit in the headlights when he had the ball at his feet, far more suited to hoofball. Was gone in spells but far to inconsistent in my eyes. Saah and Doe are a great pairing, with Gayle as back up not a bad three moving into the season. He had he chance to get back in the team when d...

Any excuse for a piss up!Dagger83 wrote:I can't believe people are seriously considering travelling to Spain for the day to see a glorified training session against a Spanish non-league team. I can't be arsed to travel the 50 miles to Dagenham to watch a pre-season friendly.
