Re: Injuries

Hotels do tend to have gyms, especially the sort of hotel he can afford.

From what I've heard he isn't even back on the grass yet. So he'll be doing gym and balance work, and perhaps straight line running.

Re: We've won a game!

I thought Marsh was really poor yesterday, but of course there's a huge caveat that he's been out for some time and needs to get up to speed. I hope he can rediscover the form that made Orient fans regard him well.

Harrack was excellent. A few reasons for that, firstly he's in midfield - he was ...

Re: Wtf

I expect everyone - management, players and fans - to be unhappy and the only real fix is to win some football matches.

We do have a small number of fans who think that it is acceptable to scream really bad stuff at our own players. It is rare that is deserved, and certainly not after four games ...

Re: B---b--y --t!!

I know it's probably nit picking, but there was a moment at Salisbury where Howes was huge favourite to smother a loose ball but took so long to get down that the striker nearly nicked it. He seems really stiff and unable to get down to the ball quickly.

I haven't seen tonight's goals so will ...

Re: @ Salisbury

To be fair, one chance each fell to our front three today and they all missed. Hemmings perhaps unlucky to hit the bar but didn't need to be that precise, Wilson made a total hash overrunning a 1v1, and Haigh put his straight at the keeper.

Haigh was often the key in terms of getting in good ...

Re: The removing of the blackout how would it affect Dagenham?

The NL board will back it probably, as they've been bought by the Prem.

I guess it remains to be seen exactly how much it would affect attendances. I don't think it's any surprise we had a bigger than usual attendance on Saturday when there was no prem. I suspect the 12.30/5.30 TV games, plus the ...

Re: Kit Launch

I was pleasantly shocked how many of the new kit we'd shifted. Loads of people wearing them on Saturday. Not sure if it's just noticeable due to the stark difference with recent kits but certainly feels like we've done well here. Would be interesting to see what the sales figures say.

Re: New season 1st game

Yeah that was rubbish. Very little attacking threat. Midfield was appalling. Panter and Broad looked hugely suspect on left side of our defence.

Probably 3 or 4 starters missing today, then Dieng. But we'll never be able to field the first team and you need depth, which we don't have. N'Guessan is ...

Re: When do we get to see the New Owners?

Does anyone think there's a chance that Youseph Al Sharif is not a real person? I'd love to know when they are actually going to reveal themselves.

Re: Best ever games in Daggers history

Hampton and Richmond away in 2000 to clinch the Ryman League. We actually beat Purfleet the week before which absolutely never happens and fully expected them to derail our title.

In terms of history defining, probably also the golden goal loss to Doncaster. And the two defeats in two weeks in ...

Re: Ebsfleet

As I understand it, blocks 7 and 8 of the SDS are the new family stand. Blocks 1, 2 and 3 are season tickets. Then the Choice Training (old family stand) is now for away fans.

A few solutions to this situation:

1. Make it all-ticket for away fans and make them prove they can sell out the original ...

Re: Boringwood

We've signed all these players but we're going in to the first game missing our only target man, presumably our first choice midfielder in Marsh, and a back four who have barely played together.

I am concerned about the overall profile of the squad, which I've said for many years now. Too many ...

Re: Morecambe

The National League will do nothing to help and will fail to protect the integrity of the competition, because they are useless.

No idea what Whittingham is playing at or what he stands to gain. Sad times for Morecambe.

If they do go, they'll just play with 23 teams.

Re: Havant

Today we were missing

Carroll (hamstring, 4-6 weeks)
Lawless (groin, presumably a couple of weeks minimum, and he's had groin issues before)
Maghoma (struggling to be ready for start of season)
Scott (unknown)
Wilson (broken wrist, awaiting a cast)
Lusala (a week away)

Then Marsh went off injured ...

Re: Squad Numbers

Slightly depressing they've moved N'Guessan to 8, indicating that he's not going anywhere. You'd think he'd just stay at 11 for now or move to the 20s if he was leaving.
