Paul Kalambayi

Has joined Kidderminster on loan for a month. Cannot understand the logic behind this one as he is probably our best defender and we have been so short of players recently due to injuries and suspension. Not sure if there is a problem between him and the manager.

Re: Torquay United Away

Sounded a big improvement against one of the top sides in the division. Cannot get too excited but with players coming back from injury it seems a bit more promising.

Re: Torquay United Away

We have got Carroll and Lawless in the starting eleven so players at least coming back into the squad.

Torquay United Away

A game tomorrow against a team that have won all their five home games so not really expecting too much. What I would like to see is one or two of our long term injured players make a return to the squad. Also think Andy Carroll has now served his suspension but believe Kalambayi may have another ...

Re: Assistant Manager

Remember seeing him play for Dagenham FC many years ago and as assistant to the many managers here over the years he seems to have been around for a very very long time. Was therefore surprised he is listed as 67 years old because thought he must be several years older than that.
We need all the ...

Assistant Manager

Terry Harris has returned to the club, certainly a bit of a shock and not sure what to think of it.

Re: Maidstone United home

From what I know from various people Club Underdog since their ownership have just done their own thing without consultation because that's the way they operate and look where it got us. They are keeping us in the dark now and we are not likely to hear anything until a deal is finalised.
I hope ...

Re: Maidstone United home

Was sat directly in front of someone, who was 100% involved in the recruitment process (candidate) back in the summer, he asked not to be named, so I won't say who he was, others might of noticed him, don't know.
He said that our budget is excellent this season, for the level, easy top 3 or 4 ...

Re: Maidstone United home

On a positive note was Rashawn Scott, he hasn’t featured much so far this season but was a real live wire. When we didn’t have the ball he showed lots of determination in getting it back and when in possession he ran at defenders and in fact made our goal. He got injured and had to be replaced but ...

Re: Maidstone United home

I’m not going to beat about the bush on this…. We were rudderless today!
We lacked leadership on and off of the pitch,
We lacked ideas and awareness,
There was no organisation or teamwork at set pieces,
When we were breaking from defence players were walking out instead of busting a gut to get up ...

Re: Memories /10 years ago today

I know what you mean but it seems these are the joys of supporting the Daggers. I was a supporter of Dagenham Fc pre merger and equally upset that we needed to merge with Redbridge Forest because of financial reasons.
As it worked out over the years we managed to get into the football league and to ...

Maidstone United home

A game tomorrow against a team that are in a poor run of form with only one win from their last six games. Not sure if our injury situation has improved but believe Carrol and Kalambayi are still suspended. Not very confident of winning this game but desperately hope that we do.

Re: Our Present & Future - What is going on?

apparently there's been rumours of John Grabowski essentially saying: "The takeover deal is done, CU are going, this is a long process and the only thing to do is to sign the paperwork, essentially putting Qatar into power. Well ok then, why haven't the club provided supporters with an update to ...

Re: DAZN

Thanks Joel for that, paying just £9.99 last season was very good value so can see why they have changed it then.

DAZN

Our game at Torquay has been selected for live Tv coverage on the 11th October.
Last season Saturday games at 300pm were not permitted in the UK and the cost for a seven day subscription was £9.99.
I have looked on the their site and cannot find any mention of the 7day subscription now.
Does anybody ...
