Re: FA Cup

A banana skin waiting to happen which I do hope not! They obviously did well to turn Hornchurch over so will think have nothing to lose when playing us.

Re: FA Cup

I agree that Hornchurch ground is one of the worse with the running track round the pitch, also as you say lots of ex daggers in their squad not to mention our ex manager who would be very pleased to turn us over. Despite all this, would be a local game so would much prefer a Hornchurch win tonight ...

Re: Solihull Moors (Home)

Agreed we had so many chances that we should have taken despite Solihull dominating possession for long periods at times. At the end could have gone either way. Still a few players not available so can only get stronger when they return.

Solihull Moors (Home)

It appears that Eastman is still not fit for game but couple of players back from injury which is encouraging. Connor Wilkinson is in the opposition lineup who was excellent for us a couple of years ago, but hasn’t really progressed since then and now back down to this level. Our home form in recent...

Re: National League Cup

Cannot see what all the fuss is about if certain fans don’t want to attend that is there decision. Too often on here is so much criticism and negativity, whereas if the club in their wisdom see the requirement to enter this competition so be it. Low crowds can also be seen in early rounds of fa trop...

Re: Commentary - 'pool v Daggers

I listened to the game on BBC radio Tees and the local commentary team were very impressed with Dion Pereira. They described his performance as " head and shoulders above every other player on the pitch". Just to say how well the club managed to get him here on a season long loan is just a...

Re: Commentary - 'pool v Daggers

Brilliant result despite the number of players missing but great to see Ryan Hill back.

Re: Gateshead (H) Thread

Wow what a game, incredible performance from everyone involved. Ten goals scored in a week it doesn't get any better than that.

Re: Gateshead (H) Thread

Will be a tough against unbeaten opposition, not sure if we will have any other players back from injury but seems unlikely.

Re: Sutton (H)

A very good performance with everyone playing their part. Thought Pereria was outstanding again. Also even more satisfying to play this well with so many players missing through injury.

He is 5 years younger than Effiong and haven't paid a few for him, this said, the last couple of seasons hasn't scored many goals but young enough to he be a good signing with his pedigree.

Re: Sutton (H)

Like a number of people I imagine cannot get too excited about England game anyway. Three points for the Daggers would be far better.

Re: Inih Effiong

It has been said on here that he had been offered a good deal from us but he was pushing for a two year deal. As he is 33 years old who collapsed on the pitch only last season and also had injury problems it was not considered suitable to agree to his terms. He has not done very well at Braintree so...

Re: Maidenhead (A)

A game we should have won comfortably, Dion was was good as usual but thought Akinola was excellent and just hope his injury at the end was not as bad as it looked.

Re: Maidenhead (A)

Dion playing which is great news, Umerah up front instead of Grego-Cox.
