Re: Eastleigh home
Agree that Akinola would make a big difference and hopefully see him back sooner than January.

Eastleigh home
We didn't play well but with a few minutes to go thought we were going to grab an underserved victory. I thought Dion could have come on much earlier which may have changed the game but hopefully will be on from the start on Saturday. Probably a fair result, but we equally could quite have easily lo...

Re: Fylde home
A good result with a clean sheet, Rutherford mom but thought it could have been NGuessan who had a very good game as well. We could have scored a few more had their goalkeeper not made a some good saves. We now need the same again Tuesday please.

Fylde home
Although a game against a team in the bottom four so we should start as favourites, strangely enough, they have Nick Haughton who is top goalscorer in the league playing for them. We should have Dion and Hess back for us today which has got to be good so would like to think three points will be achi...

Re: FA Cup
That’s a disappointment because he looked very promising in his brief spell before injury.

Re: FA Cup
A tough draw, but having earned £9375 for winning at Leiston, the fund increases to £45000 for the winners of the Crewe game and £15000 for the losers. We go into the game as underdogs but with nothing to lose, any financial proceeds gained are an improvement on last season.

Re: FA Cup
I cannot imagine such a lack of activity on this thread had we lost, do we not like winning?

Re: FA Cup
A good win considering number of players not available, interesting who we get in next round but hopefully a home draw.

Re: Daniel Hall Interview - BBC London Sport
An interesting interview to listen to and sounds encouraging with his aspirations for our club.

Re: FA Cup
I don’t think the Fa cup works like that because if so there wouldn’t be such a thing as giankilling. You have only got to look at our record over the years in beating teams from a higher division.DaggerJoel11 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 8:58 pm Exactly fifty places between the two sides. Zero excuses whatsoever, especially after last year.

Re: FA Cup
All the pressure is on us as Leiston are a lowly supported team that are not even doing particularly well in their own league. They beat Hornchurch in the previous round and this will now be a big game for them with nothing to lose. I’m just hoping that my fears are unfounded and we win this game an...

Re: FA Cup
With Dion seemingly on international duty and Junior injured or if fit would Notts County allow him to be potentially cup tied once his loan period expires I wonder. Also in addition we have Eastman, Ling, Rendall and Greco-Cox all injured at the moment so seem so lightweight going into a game agains...

Re: Yeovil Away
Why will Dion be missing next week is it too many bookings?
