Re: New signings

Oteh has signed for Ebbsfleet, so that’s another one out the door, great finisher at this level. Decent signing for them although not sure he would fit into a hard working team which is what we have been promised

Can't be certain but get the impression we will be playing some variety of a 4-3-3 ...

Re: New signings

Seen a few names linked on X/Instagram

Kyle Ajayi from Hemel
Darion Dowrich from Hemel
Kymani Thomas from Brentwood Town
Harry Beautyman from Woking

Also seen rumours that Haigh is set to sign a new deal.

No guarantee obviously, but Haigh could be a bigger steal than any other summer signing ...

Believe he retweeted someone suggesting his new agent meant he was going F/T with us. Trying to not get too excited early on the defence as I thought PK and Maghoma would boss the league this year

Re: New signings

Seems today will see multiple signings done imagine some of the Hemel lot will be in tow

Lyle Taylor has left Chelmsford…

Particularly interested in the striking moves we make, given that we have AC and Leech and are still in talks (I believe) with Oteh... Have seen a rumour that we made a ...

Re: Welcome Lee Allinson

Fickle fan, I appreciate, but this decision alone has convinced me to get on board the Season Ticket train that I got off of last season having moved out of London a few years back.

Excited for the summer, however it ends up going over the next few months... Remember distinctly the feeling coming ...

Re: Welcome Lee Allinson

Not familiar with his old squad, but assume he will look at one or two to bring up to Full Time football after the way they played this season just gone?

Noticed someone online made a comment about 'he will probably bring his son over and play him every game'... any idea who this is??

Re: Slough / Last game of the season

With all due respect I don’t give a toss about any games in the national league or national league south, any excitement about the final day of the season disappeared months ago!
I usually enjoy the last away game but today im going shopping at lakeside, will still be checking out the scores ...

Re: Kevin Nolan

No personal issues with the guy, were this to be an appointment we made... But worried about the amount of comments from 'fans' of his previous teams suggesting squad discipline was lacking and recruitment was poor... they are clearly the two key things we cannot afford to let slip by over the ...

Re: Chelmsford (h)

Where to get the words for that last ten minutes?? Seriously... Ten men, two goals ahead... Playing like it's 1-0 in the 95th minute of a world cup final... The equaliser looked worse on Instagram this morning than it did in real time yesterday

Haigh and Leech will leave the club in three months ...

Re: Hornchurch A

No disrespect at all to Hornchurch, but (even with their current League position) we surely can't finish this travesty of a season with Home and Away losses to this team, after also losing the awful pre-season friendly a couple of years ago... that's a damning indictment on where we are as a club ...

Minor point in amongst a decent win, but what on earth were we doing letting Scott go out on loan?? On for two minutes, beat two players and almost curled one in to the top corner... Crazy talented kid

Great result second half... Not under huge pressure but could really have folded after their ...

Re: Saturday's game streamed live on YouTube

All positive at the moment, and will almost certainly have an impact at the start of next season as a new manager, staff, players etc are brought in to the club and a focus on 2026/27 can begin... Ultimately though, any good will can only last if the results and performances on the pitch improve and ...

Re: Farnborough (a)

Would prefer to get beat tonight playing a more attacking line-up then to draw 0-0 with two defensive central midfielders in front of 3 centre backs again... almost statistically impossible, having watched the club for 25 years, to see us play as badly as we did at the weekend again... Rarely have I ...
