He has now announced his departure from Kidderminster, so must be a done deal. Experienced player, stays fit, scores goals, it’s what we need. Gives us a solid captaincy option that we desperately needed too, after Phippsy and Hill left.

Huge 'if' though isn't it. He's barely been fit for 2 years. I like him but we can't rely on him.


This is my only worry this season with the new stroker and Maghoma... How many players can we afford to pay ages to with a likely reduced budget that we can't get 20+ games out of?

With regard to Lawless I believe there is a good player there but in the two seasons he has been with us his injuries have meant he has missed so many games.
I imagine the contract offer that we have made him would not be that lucrative and would reflect his injury record.

Just seen Kwesi Appiah has signed for Ebbsfleet... No idea if we were after him but I know we were a year or so ago... Another decent signing for a rival who scored 24 goals last year as Boreham Wood went up, in a position we desperately need strength for.

Possibly not reading stuff online correctly but any suggestion where Phipps has gone?

Played a full 90 once last season. Last started a game in September, last played in Feb. No doubt his CV reads for someone who could do incredibly well for this level, but it also reads for someone who could barely feature because of fitness.

As we already have Maghoma, this has to be the last ...

I do hope not but have heard Ryan Hill is going to sign for Aldershot which is very bad news.

Will attend as many Home and Away games as I can from Essex but no to the ST for me and the family... Simply couldn't understand the cost after the disaster of a season last year
