Re: AFC Wimbledon away

Great performance great result, tonights draw though is likely to leave us feeling a little bit deflated as the chance of a plum tie against top opposition is very unlikely, but I have a feeling its going to be Bromley. hope I'm wrong

Re: Barnet home

So disappointed with letting a 3-1 lead get away from us, although we were never in control of the game I felt we were capable of getting the result but a dodgy penalty and uncharacteristic error from Justham had me thinking that despite Ben being perhaps the most popular manager we’ve had for quite...

Re: Boston United Away

Unfortunately another game where we should of won easily, we had the lion’s share of the game and should have made more of the opportunities we created, apart from one shot on goal Boston didn’t have anything else on target, unfortunately that one shot went in. What worries me most is the lack of fo...

Re: Gateshead (H) Thread

Unfortunately I also missed it as I’m away on vacation, was updated during the game by my son but in truth until I checked on the BBC I thought he was winding me up! Especially as it was a “kids for a quid” game.. we never win those haha, absolutely delighted for Ben and the team.

Re: Keenan Appiah-Forson

I wouldn’t have been upset if he had stayed with us as he’s a quality player, but that being said I hope he has a total mare at sarfend

Re: York City (Home)

Akinola was the only bright spot yesterday, thought he did well when he came on, Junior needs to get fit and lose some weight if he is ever going to find any form and cause a threat to any opposition, against York we never clicked as a team, lots of effort but didn’t look like we had a game plan, co...

Re: Appiah Forson

I was made aware of this rumour earlier this afternoon, would be fantastic if it happened, no need to apologise to Junior though, totally different players.
We could be serious contenders if the club pull this off.
Exciting times

Re: Junior returns

Got to say that I’m not a fan of players returning to a club where they were previously successful before moving on BUT in this case I think it’s a really good move for us, and I presume that as it’s a six month loan there’s the possibility of making it permanent if everything goes well for both sid...

Re: Fans Forum

Standard question asked on food :banghead: I have never been to a stadium with good food. Pies at notts county were good (might have been because I was pi$$ed) but in general yes food in stadiums is crap and overpriced, also how about a bar of some kind for home fans behind the sieve, even if it’s ...

Re: Elliott Johnson signs for Hednesford Town

I’m pretty disappointed that he’s gone to be honest, never an outstanding player for us but dependable and always gave it his all, very surprised he’s dropped down the ladder so far but Hednesford have got themselves a good player

Re: More signings

Most players have injuries at some period during the season but when a player has been playing league 1 football and his next move is to the national league it either rings alarm bells or signifies the ambition of the new owners! I’m hoping it’s the latter

Re: Effiong

Good luck to him, his goals kept us up last season but I’m not surprised he’s going, his obvious dissatisfaction with sections of the crowd showed that he wasn’t happy so if he wanted out then ta ta

Re: More signings

Another striker signed today, a Newcastle lad so I’m hoping he doesn’t get homesick before he settles, I’m also hoping that we will be signing another defender and midfielder soon.

Re: More signings

I know my sense of humour isn’t everyone’s bag but I thought the Appiah-Forsen note was an obvious light hearted comment!
