Re: Piss Poor
Thought we were okay first half but gave away another soft goal and couldn't finish..pen looked a bit soft and then frustrated to give away a third (before it's mentioned Bouchard at fault although ultimately we were unlucky with the rebound). I thought they did a good job on Ferrier although he obv...

Re: Ins/Outs during January?
Do you not think he was just getting his excuses in early!? Let's be honest none of our strikers could make that step. Maybe Ferrier in time but at 25 Cheek isn't going to get significantly better. Maybe some of the fringe players again in time but no-one could make that judgement now.

Re: Better
Yeah but he's a ball player rather than a midfielder that's going to make any defence splitting passes, he's a defensive midfielder. Obviously I'm not comparing him to any of the following based on ability but players like Paul Ince and Nicky Butt did similar roles in their teams.

Re: Better
I don't think a keeper of Loach's experience would of missed an obvious back pass either. I personally thought it looked maybe a bit iffy but probably not.

Re: Better
Well I too disagree with you Adrian on Bouchard and agree with the others. I think he's a good player and I reckon Still probably does too. I suspect there's no point us arguing and we'll have to agree to disagree but I do think once fans make their minds up they don't like a particular player they ...

Re: Better
Strange game. Played quite well in first half without any hint of what was going to happen second half when I thought we were generally poor but managed to score three more goals. We frankly invited Pools to score. However, nice to get the win for course...

Re: Doidge
I've personally no issues with ex players giving it back with a cupped ear or whatever, hurts at the time but some get dog's abuse. I thought the abuse he got in the second leg was well OTT and he'd have been well within his rights to wind 700 of us up then but he didn't.

Re: Doidge
As others have said clearly much improved as he wasn't good in a struggling league 2 side but now he's banging them in for for fun for a similarly struggling league 2 side. League's third top scorer I think. Championship massive step for him though.

Re: Don't know what ya doing !!
Ferrier has been our best attacking player by a country mile. Yep, he is occasionally guilty of overdoing it but I love his energy and work rate. We looked much more of a threat once he came on on NYD.

Re: Our Own Worst Enemy
First of all a well written article which is a credit to young Joe. However, I do think it's a bit of cliché when supporters say 'only we etc could do this'. Winning four on the spin and then losing the next couple I don't think is that unusual throughout the leagues.. We are fortunate no-one is run...

Re: Time for a change
Maybe you were standing behind me Mike as there was a lady (with her husband presumably) who seemed a bit shocked now and then by some of the things said! And I agree there was some really idiotic stuff said..

Re: Time for a change
Jeez, not sure the OP was serious but I'll play along..we lose a couple of games and it's change the manager. Garry Monk is available, I'm sure he'd be up for it..
