Re: Ebbsfleet 4 Daggers 0

I think that we have flirted with the R word once too often, and from what I'm seeing and hearing, 11/2 isn't a bad price for us to go down. I pray I'm wrong, but from where I'm sitting I'm miffed at what's happening at the club. None of the new signings excite me, we still haven't got a decent stri...

Re: Matt Partridage v Lee Hughes

I have just read the Daily Mail reports and I'm disgusted firstly that he got let off so lightly by the judge, but horrified that we've signed him. Because football is such a fickle world, it seems that everybody get a second, third and in Suarez's case a fourth chance. If I was interviewing people ...

Re: Official prediction thread

Fair shout Arnu. When you consider we still have Conners, Doe, Saah, Howell, Bingham, Elito, Ogogo, Murphy plus guys like Gayle, Shields that should get better, the nucleus is there to build on. That still leaves a lot of new players that will 1) have to prove themselves and 2) gel. Until we're ten ...

Y Viva Espana

Assuming that we haven't hired a charabanc with Wayne at the wheel and we're not camping on the beach, how much do we think this team bonding exercise is costing. Based on 3 nights, squad of say 20 players plus staff, I reckon about 12 grand.

Re: Trailists

A proven goal scorer with experience, a cut above at this level. We nearly signed him a few years ago but he wanted silly money. I guess what with his pension topping him up now, he may fall within our pay structure. Interesting !

Re: New Signings

Dunno why we take on these morons, behave like that in my game and your out, gone, definately nicked and jailed,he'd better be good.Only football gives these c***s a 2nd chance.Assault and battery, drink driving, racist behaviour and rape all overlooked by football.Cant wait for ask Wayne ? Because they...

Re: Farewell Luke

Does anyone else get the impression that he's another player deserting a sinking ship. With Gav sure to be next, that's a whole back line gone plus two keepers. No wonder those season tickets were so cheap.

Re: FC Torreveija next Saturday.

Surely when it comes to supporting The Daggers, money is no object. If you were daggers no.1 fan, you would have flogged your PS4 on ebay by now and be practicing "uno cerveza por favor" by now

Call yourself a supporter !!!!

I'm surprised we're not running all inclusive packages so we can stop over and watch the World Cup Final too

Re: Current Squad

Matt, what I'm saying is that I'd rather have a class player on say 1500 p/w, than 3 squad players on 500 each for example. Look at the World Cup. They are no outstanding teams, but the ones doing well ie Brazil, Holland, Argentina each have a world class player.

Of the signings made, they just seem like squad players to me. Less is more, get some experience and quality in !

At least by giving the fans an opportunity to contribute, nobody can moan. I bet that all of the counterfit shirt makers in China are waiting with baited breath for a sneak preview.....

New Signings

I have to admit that none of our new signings are filling me with any sense of hope or joy for the coming season. Players who have either been reserves, rejects or with this latest defender, raw with no football league experience. I thought the idea of releasing players was to bring better ones in. ...

Re: Capital One Cup

What do you call decent? 1500 if we're lucky. Regarding the competition as a whole, what do people think about it being scrapped? We are to the best of my knowledge the only league I know with 2 national cup competitions. Is less more when it comes to the additional games? Are there really any finan...
