Odd timing, but he's gone. Who do we get now? Maybe the situation at Southend will be a factor?

Re: Aldershot Home Thread
I was impressed by Sydney too. Big but has some pace too. Only my sixth game of the season due to ongoing health problems in the family and a lack of transport on Saturdays. I thought we deserved the win, certainly a better display than the losses against Yeovil, Torquay and Woking which I witnessed...

I can't see any changes being made unless the winding up order at Southend is upheld. If that happens you know the board would and you know He would......

Re: Gateshead FC Saturday 10th December 2022
My lad told me that if England are playing on the 10th the kick off time for this one will be brought forward. I don't know if that's right or not?

I actually blame the owners for letting this fiasco carry on. They are successful business people who have built their wealth by being astute and having an eye on the ball in their chosen field. Which is why I'm baffled by their continued blasé attitude towards this club. Surely even if you're on t...

Re: York City (A) grievances before, during and after the fixture here
Exactly the same fare and train back as Mr Round Thing for a 500.mile round trip. The lad didn't do so well - heavy delays so got back to Edinburgh at 1.30am. He tells me met officers are in Edinburgh and it's heaving with people for the laying in state. I suspect the met and other forces will be fu...

Beer slipping down nicely in York. Didn't want to waste a train fare How long does that trip take? I assume you are leaving out of a London area train station. 4 hours each way from south eaat Essex. York is a great place to visit and halfway to Edinburgh where my son is studying so we met up

With the news coming out of Balmoral it wouldn't surprise me if this game gets postponed

Re: The Future.
Rugby is played on artificial pitches. I think Saracens and Widnes (RL) use them, for example. London Broncos RL used an artificial surface at Ealing Trailfinders RU club, including their 2019 season in super league and London Skolars have an artificial pitch at White Hart Lane sports centre. The ba...

Re: The Future.
York are in their new ground, which they share with the rugby league club. It's not in the city centre so not quite the brilliant day it was I suspect
