Re: manager of the year
MOTY - Russ Wilcox (Scunthorpe) in Lge 2 - Russell Slade (Leyton Orient) Lge 1 - Sean Dyche (Burnley) Championship - Tony Pulis (Crystal Palace) Premiership. Just to justify the above think of what they have achieved in relation to resources, expectations etc, doubtless whoever manages the Champions...

Re: The crisis at Hereford United
I think Hereford have now paid £40k of the £78k owed & struck an agreement for the remainder, interesting points raised by Auntie Merge, it looks as if Clubs probably overstretch themselves to stay in the FL, also inevitably when clubs drop into the Conference crowds go down ,thus revenue does a...

Re: Chesterfield
Isn't there a restriction on either how many loan signings you can have or how many can play at any time?

Re: Scrap "Remembrance" at football.
A very poignant article, Suzanne, I thought much the same as you when we visited the Memorial after the game. We thought it a good job we only had 600 odd fans at Sheff Wed otherwise things might have got a little cramped. I honestly cannot remember going into the Bar at Hayes on the fateful day in ...

The crisis at Hereford United
I don't suppose many will be interested but a big name in Non League may well go to the wall or at best sink even further down as Hereford are in severe financial trouble at present. Personally I have watched us play there many times with average success & enjoyed some hard fought games with a f...

Re: Just a quick mention...
If I recall correctly we didn't get another away point after the Orient draw but yes, Kettle is yet another poor FL Ref (in good company with 20/30 others mind!!).

Re: Oxford Match Thread
Whether we've played well or not over the season we've got to 54 points which should guarantee League football next year - a fine achievement given our resources, crowd etc, WB & the team deserve immense credit for that, with no pressure on us maybe they should be allowed to go out & express...

Re: Luke Norris
Good news that Norris is with us until May 3rd, interesting that JS never got players of this calibre when he was Manager (assuming he tried although maybe players didn't fancy getting a stiff neck waiting for the ball to come down from the sky!!). I would guess that finances are similar to last yea...

Re: Newport Match Thread
An excellent result & one more win plus a couple of draws should see us safe with a bit to spare, incredible that we have only won once at home since Nov but are 5 unbeaten away against at least 2/3 decent sides. Keep up the good work!!

Re: If guilty....
In the last few years both Lee Hughes & Luke McCormick have come back to League football after being convicted & jailed for Manslaughter, they also didn't serve their full terms & especially in Hughes' case have shown no remorse. I don't believe they should have come back & Hughes' g...

Re: If guilty....
If guilty then what a dickhead he is - typical example of a footballer of today thinking he can do what he wants. Disgraceful way to treat a woman, hope he gets what he deserves for this if found guilty!

Re: Rovers Match Thread
An excellent result especially coming from behind & showing a bit of character, a couple more wins & we should be nearly safe. I wonder how many points will guarantee safety this year? 54 at a guess.

Re: Saturdays Gate
In my case I simply cannot afford to go this season, money is tight as with many people & the ST being increased to £300 (only a modest increase admittedly) on the back of 2/3 years of watching absolute crap was another factor. TBH I haven't missed it as much as I thought I would although I do s...
