Re: Shades Of 2010?!?!?!
There is a load of fixtures to be played between teams that are in the current top ten. Southend ,York, Oxford all have at least three games with teams still with ambitions of promotion. This is going to go down to the wire and this year we may have one ear on a radio or one eye on the smartphone li...

Re: Who's going down ?
Think its a three way go now for Torquay Wycombe and Northampton. Would love it to be Portsmouth (spit) but I cant ever be that lucky.
With all this lot to play we will have a big say in who it is going to be. Any of them manage to beat us and it will be massive for them.

Re: Johny Judas.
I like the term "healthy contract" he had with us Arnu. All this Daggers are my team bollocks, looks like nobody would have paid him what we did until desperate Luton did. Makes me laugh Arnu here we have a team built from nothing at least making a fist of it and we still have supporters h...

Re: Oxford Match Thread
We were playing well at home the start if the season the crowds stayed the same. Our crowds will never ever change no matter how well we are doing at home. Success like being top of the league will only change that, our 1200 hard core home will show up regardless. The previous regime were clueless ...

Re: Just a quick mention...
All I can ever think about when we have him is that last minute pen he gave against us at orient a few seasons back, we would've had another season in league 1 if it wasn't for that! Bit harsh when you consider the Morgan miss and an appeal by Femi for the sending off at the penalty was rejected. A...

Re: Femi v Connors
7/10 from Jack today I thought and played his part in a good effort by the defence. With his absence from the entire team today confirming what I thought that Femi was clearly carrying an injury Tuesday night, belated pat on the pat for him as well. Can not tell you what a nasty challange he was sub...

Re: Oxford Match Thread
Oxford were awful, we were dreadful! The goal just summed it up, an absolute joke. We may have won, and have 54 points, but most of us know that since Dec 1st 8 home goals ( or should I say ) 5 in nine games at home is a joke. Wayne has done well, but at home recently he has looked like he is out o...

Re: Oxford Match Thread
Was it an own goal or was it a clearence that hit Luke. Think if it was a boxing match we would have won on points. They made Chambers who played down the middle for most of the game look better then he was. If they ever need a replacement for the Lion in the Wizard of Oz he is your boy. A trip to s...

Re: Yet another winger signed!
Remember seeing this kid playing for West Ham agsinst Forest in the cup.
First impressions probably as good as any other fit player who can play on the wing that we have.

Re: Femi v Connors
I apologise you are correct, but its still a big ask. Hope i am wrong but these academy rejects from bigger Clubs have served us well in the past.steeevooo wrote:Sorry to be a pedant Sussex, but Bromley actually play in the Conference South (2 divs below us) as opposed to Ryman South (4 divs below us).

Re: Femi v Connors
Sussex, bit deep for me, please explain. Cheers p.s. Good result for Pompey last night! Bromley play in Ryeman South now that is far removed from what we need. Goldbeg is scoring there accepted but heavens above so is Jake Read in the league above and we all know what a dreadfull fsilure he was. St...

Re: Femi v Connors
I agree that the loss of Femi driving forward has been a mystery and a big loss, but with Connors probably being our number one next year I do not think that LB is a priority. With Murphy probably going, and the loanees departing, there will not be much left up front. The club do not spend on trans...

Re: Femi v Connors
Think last night is a bit unfair on Femi. My view is Connors all day long. However on Saturday I thought that Wayne made the change for risk management after what happened at Burton. Connors was booked inside 10 minutes Saturday and the Bury winger was their best player. As he never made the bench l...

Re: Bore Draw !!
Obviously if you dont score goals you dont win matches Dagdale. 1 goal in open play in the last 4 home games is very poor little wonder we dont win .Before kick off we were in the top half dozen for goals . A stst that leaves you scrstching your head for answers.

Re: Bore Draw !!
We left our guts on the field at Bury. Saturday massive effort left mothing in our legs . Femi took a hell of a wack late on Saturday and finished on one leg. He is clearly injured as must be Connors who never even made the bench. We did not need tonights game we looked dog tired throughout. All the...
